LCD Colour looks improved, and its the small things that are changed, alright for an Update but it prob would need a Major Update , or something like a Camera at the back, or something

Yeah, would like to see the anticipated two analogs.. but heard it would mess up the current games or something

It's not anything special (in my opinion)

Skype.. well it's a question of whether people will see this as a valuable feature or not. Personally I think it's kind of pointless.. I mean that's what you mobile phone is for; Or if you do have a skype contact and wish to talk to them for a long period.. wouldn't it make more sense to do it at a computer with a proper, decent microphone??

I just think that the PSP should be a gaming device, then a multimedia device, then a "phone" I think Sony will try and be one step ahead of eveyrone with this PSP.. I don't think it will be possible to hack it without doing something serious to it... so I doubt pandora's battery or anything that requires "soft-modding" will be possible (that is for now-Who knows .. lol)

Anyways, I'm happy to save my money.. My first-gen PSP is chugging along fine :D (touch wood)

  6. another update in an effort to salvage more money?? lol...

Better LCD and sound are the only changes? I agree they need work, but what about the horrendous loading time of some games?

they probably change the board also? to avoid hackers right now? lol :D i'll pass on this though.. already have a psp-2000.. not going to upgrade everytime a new one comes out.. i had a psp-1000 when it first came out, then the psp-2000 when it first came out.. waste of cash to be honest upgrading lol

It's just an extra feature on a PSP.. but the main update is the improved lcd screen, the best available so far on a portable gaming device. It's got the same motherboard so firmware downgrades is still applicable.

They've improved response time for games so no longer waiting times on some games like final fantasy.

The only change is the microphone ad on, lcd screen, psp home button, skype functionality, Messenger Go. Interior hardware hasn't changed i think

    Above I think i saw somewhere ~$199

The PSP-3000 is just an extension strategy of SONY to get more money from us consumers. I wouldn't bother with the new psp-3k as it might not allow me to play games via memory stick. I hate UMDs because of the slow loading. games on Memory stick loads faster in my opinion
