gawd damn... that o-line in SF is starting to rly piss me off... and i swear... they better spend the next week working on fundamentals... fcking a.... u don't drop a touchdown pass... especially when no one's touching you or even pressuring u...
The Patriots have been lucky regarding health issue for 5-6 years. It's only a matter of time they get a huge injury to one of its main core players and this bites them big time. Not to mention it's karma that it took their biggest star off their team *cough*SpyGate*cough*.
u serious? the Patriots' dbacks and wide recieving cores had been torn up in prior years... they've had to use no name back ups to support those injuries throughout the playoffs the last year they won the SB... the only "luck" they've had regarding injury was that the NE O-Line protected Brady so very well up till now...
I'm talking about core players (the OL, Brady, Seymour, Samuel, Wilfork, etc), not some replaceable parts where you can plug any player on the team as long as you got a good system.
Matt Cassel will he be making NFL history with a win over the jets this sunday?! (21 straight regular season wins)
right... cuz ur starting db's and wide recievers can't possibly be core players... and funny how u mention asante samuel when he too was one of those "replacable parts"... he was 3rd possibly 4th string db prior to the injuries hit on the Pats in 2004 when they got to the SB
the pats injury list hasn't been as critical as it has been i would have to agree with that..... especially last season...... brady, welker, moss, watson, Maroney, and Hobbs...... were it rather good shape....
god damn the patriots got tricked, a few day slate but wow..... that direct snap play is crazy i was reviewing it on NFL.com today and what a gap opener!
haha... thought i should share this w/ everyone http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=gallo/080922&sportCat=nfl
Jim Johnson was not happy with the defense against Dallas - it was blitz at all cost. The Steelers O line didn't know what hit them...
The Monday Night game was great. The Steelers finally made an adjustment, the quick passes to keep the pass rush honest. It only took them... 6 quarters to make the change. Oh well, better late than never.
