i uh... don't think it has speakers.. my friend has the 16gb, and it doesn't have speakers... speaking of which, as long as you don't get the iphone, the touch is good.

Pretty much. Apple released FW for 1st Gen Touch, so its really ownly a hardware upgrade for the Touch. But still, the price of it has gone down significantly; Enough to think about getting one.

to be honest? i would buy 16gb nano this nano looks WAYYY better than the one before not sure about function whats up w/ the genius function?
I like the 4th gen. Back to the tall design. Once my HP iPAQ dies, I will probably get one. (if it will ever die, 5 years and still running like day 1, no bug)
new nano kinda looks like the older nanos just with a bigger screen and bigger capacity and extra features most notably its got longer battery life!! =D i got the 1st gen 4gb nano kinda sux in the sense battery dies before u even get thru 1.5gb worth of songs >.<
apparently its 6.2mm vs the 6.5mm the older model was? apparently gen1 is like 6.9mm not like i notice the difference... lolz
