ugh how annoying, it's either allergy or cold, but because I just taken some Kaiser claritin brand meds, it hasn't reduced the annoying runny nose. I can't study! is there any freaken home remedy will reduce or stop the itchy/runny nose? cause it's extremely irritating T.T

  2. use that clear chinese oil if you got it and rub it under your nose..... it clears the sinus, your nose will be runny at first but after awhile it should stop....

I've found that if one brand of allergy medicine doesn't work, you have to try another ... last year, claritin worked wonders but this year no matter how many I think it wouldn't work till I tried alavert ... go figure.

but yeah, I royally hate allergies.

It sounds like my hayfever. My hayfever doesn't necessarily have to react to pollen, sometimes it's completely random and starts up on its own. I came out of an english exam with puffy red eyes and a runny nose, people though I failed.

Try using Telfast (if it's really bad, use the intensive one) and couple it with some nasal spray.

keep anti-histamin tabs with you i.e allergy tablets that you can buy...
they seem to work wonders when i have stuffed noses out of the blue

If its allergies, I suggest going to the doctors to checking it out. I've had SUPER bad allergies but after years of going and stuff mines is really much better (before i used to waste a box of tissues in like 3-4 days, and I wasn't even sick on those days, just really bad allergies)

Lemon + honey tea works wonders if its just a simple cold, inhale the steam through your nose and drink the tea XP

Over the counter antihistamines is only a short term solution. After a while your body becomes immune to the drug that is in those tablets. Seeing a specialist allergy doctor should help greatly in identifying specifically what it is your allergic to ie dust, pollen, mould etc

I seem to remember what that machine is called to clean the air, but it filters out the dust/pollen around you so you'll have some relief. Also, there was a study saying that honey will help cure allergies or something. Just google around and you should see it.

You can always use salt in some water. I heard some people use it to clean their nostrils to stop allergies.
