...don't anyone think the plot seem confusing and doesn't make sense like 2 families finally start fighting after 12 years, Sa keep causing trouble and the family still loves her, and Michelle Yim Ex husband came back to just help her because his wife wanted him to.
If you try to make sense of all TVB series, you're just wasting your time because they will never ever ever make sense
TVB's cheesiness FOR THE WIN! I mentioned this in the "Episode 32 SPOILERS" thread and I cannot stress enough about how retarded it is. When I first saw the scene, I screamed "ARE YOU FUCKIN' KIDDING ME? YOU'RE HELPING YOUR BITCH EX-WIFE OUT BECAUSE YOUR DEAD WIFE TOLD YA TO?" It's revolting. No one could have said it better than jcy_yan, TVB is for light entertainment, only suitable for those who won't nitpick at every cheesy aspect (like us) because quite simply, there are way too many holes in it's plot to make it a serious drama. Each TVB series cannot do without: love triangles between three main actors/actresses, a rushed climax-ending, a male and female character bickering and arguing in the beginning and later becomes a couple, piss poor CGI, extreme cut scenes when showing dances and/or fights, and illogical scenes that just doesn't make sense if the scenario were put into a real life perspective.
You have to remember that it's TV, it's suppose to have a lot of crazy drama and twists and turns. If you watch enough of TV/movies, you're be able to predict most of the plot. It's not just TVB, all entertainment is like that, the more money you're willing to put in it, of course the CG, setting, outfits etc will be better overall. Sometimes these type of dramas are over the top, and it's hard to follow with so many things keep happening which most people think it's impossible to happen. But real life have more twist and turns for some people. It's just that some of you hadn't experienced it and might never will, which you should be thankful for. It's like what they say on TV all the time, " One family don't know the problems of another family is facing." Just don't take TV dramas so seriously or you guys will go crazy.
actually, sa even though creates many trouble, but chines tradition is family is family, theres really nothingy ou can do but ignore her or whatever... according to most of my friend's parents and relatives who watched this show, they think that westernized chinese people tend not to care about family members if they did wrong to them, or that american chinese teens have no family moral at all. (personally i find that true cuz im a fob living in the US, and all of my 5 ABC cousins have no family moral at all as for the triangle between ho, hung and jo bao, i dont find that weird because some people do feel regretful after a number of years, not to mention that as more episodes go by, Moses reveal more and more truths behind hung's evilness, and that just create chaos withing the Gum Family.
well actually some of the series do make sense, this series might be a bit confusing i guess, it is just similar the heart of greed 1, just changing it to mooncakes/bakery instead of abalone or whatever?
No ones saying that it has to be 100% realistic, but it shouldn't be overly made up or out-of-this-world that'll make you go "typical TVB bull!" either. Other words, it should be believable.
now we know why ah kerng (ah hungs ex husband) helps her so much (after episode 33) i think they start fighting because joe ba realises that his kids are much more important than new wife after 12 years if he had a child with ah hung then the story would be a lot different, but the fact that they don't have kids there is nothing to bond them together so joe ba goes back to hor mas to see the kids and ah hung gets jealous thinking ah joe is cheating totally understandable war can break out anytime no matter how many years as for ah sa, even though she is bad, she is still family (even though not blood related) but what do you expect from a film titled "ka ho yuet yuin"? they totally abandon her and leave her to die? at least she knows that she is wrong and they gave her another chance but as you can tell after that episode when they forgive her, they were quite cold and mean to her for a while when they went on the family trips you'll get used to these plots when u watch too much TVB hahaha it's not as realistic as real life because it's not real life! watch some boring autobiography thing if u want real life not TVB
