i been holding home and power button for long and all it does is turn off then turn back on by its self agian when i let go...
^tried that method already but still dont work also tried connecting the iphone to the pc and then holding power and home button but yet computer cant read iphone nor iphone wont turn off or any thing..
is jail break that good? i jail break my cuz iTouch and he said its crashing the iTouch. so i got him to just do a System restore and you're back to normal.
this is why you wait for a confirmed version of jail broken iphone before you actually do anything to it.. your fault at your own cause. go get a new one now
fookjay..just wait till battery runs out and charge and restart your phone... hope its back normal then?
i think fookjay means its froozen, cant do a thing wor o,O i had it once too (since its updated too 2.0) *sigh*
men it had never happened to me. To be honest, v2.0+ for jail broken iPhone is still very buggy. All he can do isto let the battery die out and see will it start up again. If you can connect it to computer try doing a restore, hopefully you still have iTunes v 7.7 not v 8.... Try to restore it back to factory before jail breaking. Gawd typing on iPhone is hard
answer to ya question-it doesnt even reads the iphone nothing comes up but the iphone is ok now cos the phone is finally fixed now... i just kept holding the power and home button, even doe it turned off and then back on again by its self it eventually got forced into dfu mode-innocent
damn yo...its been a weeek and still waitign for phoen to come..and i wanan get teh 16gb now....im scared to jailbreak and then break...damnnn i mit go for n95 or blackberrry
it won't really brick your phone.. just that it is still buggy for v2.0+ for jail broken iphones, if you really want to jail break it, i would go with v1.1.4 which is more stable firmware for iphone 2.0/first gen. if your getting the iphone 3g and don't want contract.. which is impossible to do unless someone already activated for you. iPhone 3g requires contract in most places. Jailbroken iphone can't really activate it either, only changing firmware to allow you to have install and cydia.
that long for an iphone???? i've seen them at the apple store every day...there seems to be tons of supply here...
when u jailbreak an iphone, it wont break... no worries just do it...anyone having trouble doing it ask me and i teach u step by step-cool2
I doubt it's the breaking part that most people are worried about. It's what comes after jail breaking it. :S Anyway, I once had an iphone first gen. It was crappy. Now I'm using a HTC diamond. I swear it rocks. Except for the minor lags. But yea.
if ur getting a new iphone there isn't much point in jailbreaking it cos like the new one allows third developers to install programs onto the iphone.
