The kid needs to be disciplined and perhaps psychological or even psychiatric help. Killing for fun at such a tender age is a sign of trouble and should be addressed ASAP. Otherwise, the kid may deem the killing as acceptable and get away with it; God forbidden .. who know what he will do when he grows older? There is no doubt kids like him if not helped earlier can create more trouble for society later. It may be animal now but it could be human later. Never know, kids are turning more violent and violent these days for some odd reason .. I always wonder whether the media has to do with it .. desensitized them kinda feeling ... Anyway, at the end of the day, it's the parents' responsibility to properly teach the kids. Sometimes, kids act out cuz of neglect. I am not sure if this kid is in such a position though; regardless, punishment should still apply. No excuse. Parents should bare the responsibility for the kid's action in this case.
I watched a CNN report on this on youtube, and they said this wasn't the first time kids broke in. Last time two kids badly injured a crocodile. What the hell is up with this zoo and their security? Maybe 3rd times the charm? Can't believe this was actually the second time a kid broke in. Stupid zoo security.
