People who are in PETA, or the ANF and take their policies to the extreme just piss me off. I could tell that they are probably more pro-animal than they are human. Make no mistake, I like animals too, but given the opportunity, I will definitely take up hunting if given the chance. Another thing that irks me is this controversy over seal hunting in Canada, now I understand if people are pissed off because many hunters simply kill the baby seals and take their skin, leaving their tasty meat to rot on the grounds, but there are people calling for the total ban on this lifestyle that has been going on for hundreds of years. Natives that live in those areas with the seals make their living over the hunt, and these people want to have a total ban?
It's shit like this that make me want to slaughter a few cows, and eat it of course...No trophy hunting for me, I'll be the one who hunts deer and mounts its skull after eating every single part.

Anyways, that's my rant, feel free to express your opinions over Animal Rights activists.

I have to admit .. after just one of those PETA vids, I can't eat meat for sometimes. It totally disgusted me about how people treat animals. They're CRUEL and to me, these people are no different from them with their behavior and action. I believe these animals have to be treated humanely regardless.

As for hunting, as food, it's acceptable but for fun, the answer is no. If the ban is on recreational, then I'll support it. Otherwise, it's too extreme. Like you said, some people need it to survive.

Yea, those guys in PETA are pretty insane. I remember seeing something on the news about how members of PETA wanted to replace cow milk with human breast milk as an ingredient for Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

PETA and go to hell....... they put animals down all the time.... both for right and wrong reasons....

hardcore protesters need to get their head checked and debriefed and or captured to study a way to suppress their out breaks in gas form....

well when I see adverts of abuse to animals like the black bear liver juice extracting and animals skinned alive I am thankful that we have activists like PETA. On the other hand when they hound people for eating meat that's going too far. I can't have a meal without having meat in it, KFC is my favorite junk food and I'd like to go and try some whale, heard it taste just like steak, I have no props of the Japanese hunting the whales as I find them ugly. Well I'm kind of a hypocrite in this sense as I find it not ok if they kill really cute animals but ok if their ugly and monster like.

    No.

Because if we don't eat them, other animals will. They will die one way or another. Us eating them, other animals eating them, other animals killing them; what's the point in trying to protect them? Ask yourself this, would you let hundreds of thousands of people die of hunger to save Yogi Bear? Also, these animals have evolved in order to adapt to their environment and learn to defend themselves against their predators. If humans interfere and protect them, it would completely unravel what mother nature has taken millions of years to perfect; not to mention throwing the natural food chain off balance.

Ignorant animals rights activist need to think beyond the confines of their vegetarian sub-culture and realize that other people need to hunt and eat animals in order to survive.

I'm tired of all these "what if you were an animal?" or "animals have feels, too" bull shit. Yes, I'm against animal cruelty but not eating them is stupid.

I could not agree with you more.
Animals rely on instincts much more than we do. They'll do anything in order to survive.

If you protected a crocodile from a poacher, the croc would still bite your arm off.

  18. This post is made of fucking win.

I swear if someone came up to me and told me to stop eating meat because of such lame excuses, I will facepalm them to the ground. I give you my word.

lol which reminds me, I have a friend who went vegan because of this shit, and turned back to eating meat

for the record i'm not just picking on negiq this time... its just he said it out of everyone else... notice the word... humanely... and then notice the topic... "animal rights"... see how something's not fitting? neone?

i'm all for treating animals with respect, but there's a reason why humans atm are top of the food chain... do u think lions give antelope "antelope rights" and treat them as nice as possible b4 gutting their faces apart? plz... if animals don't know better, what makes u think they know any better of what we're doing is cruel to them?
