a guy from work asked me to help him lie to his gf because he had bought a soft toy or something along the line of a cute toy but he didnt give it to her he gave it to another chick and since his gf is overseas he is wanting my help because she is coming back soon he wants me to tell his gf if she asks me did he buy a soft toy for me for my bday and i have to tell her that he did but i dont know if i should seeing that we are females shouldnt we be telling each other the truth?? so just dont know whether to help him or not
Don't help him. He's trying to cheat on his gf. You should probably ask him what the hell is he doing hiding stuff behind his gf's back.
to me it's not so much abt being men or women... it's not even abt wot rite or wrong... if it was me i'd to wot i think is most constructive... even if i see the guy kissing another girl i wouldn't tell the chick coz then she won't blame me for everything...

err .. i wouldn't help him .. i don't think you should be helping him lie to his gf. she's overseas and trusting him and he's totally taking advantage of that. i'd tell her what he wants you to do if she could handle it. but if she can't just don't help him so you won't be blamed for anything. tell him to ask someone else -nono

the guy's a dumb ass.... he could've bought another cheaper soft toy n gave it to u... that way u wouldn't have to lie...
if you want to help someone...help them in a positive way...if he wants to lie then leave that to him...if all goes wrong you would be included
I guess all the people that voted no are prolly girls -devilgfight1 The real question to it is not whether is morally right or wrong. I would be inclined to lie as long as i was compensated. Everyone should have a price to do things against their will so, If i were you i'd put a condition to it, like monetary compensation or some sort of pay off like buying you a sushi dinner, at least you won't feel bad yet you are still helping your friend
its soo hard in a way i want to help him but then another part doesnt because i know the chick he gave the soft toy to ><
but think abt how his gf would feel if she found out the truth... it's not like he's cheating on her atm...
