are international student rates that high? 10G a semester? lol i find it funny that someone from HK would want to come to canada for university... id like to go to HK for university myself.. maybe in a year or two when i start my masters.

education in canada is government controlled to a degree, in general tuition is significantly cheaper than the states. I know for example at harvard you would be paying 50 thousand a year before room and board for a general program like economics, you probably will never see something like that in canada. personally i pay about 4500 dollars a year for university tuition lol... in the end i'll still end up with a degree, albeit one without much international clout, but i intend to do graduate studies anyway at a bigger name university. The only downside to such insignificant tuition cost is that its tough to get motivated to go to class lol.

Harvard is actually only slightly more expensive compared to my school. It's something like $36,000 before room and board. I don't think any colleges in the U.S. went beyond the $40,000 mark before room and board, haha. It soon will, though.
