    been there done that..
    i had the same situation, but i told the girl, but then the friend blamed me for stuff, for stabbing him in the back.
    if you want to keep the friend help him out, but when your really cant stand his actions, then tell the girl, your choice...

    avoid the question. if she presses then tell her to see her bf. if he brings her to you and tries to make you lie, then tell them the truth. why you ask? he has no respect for you.

    I would not help him, cuz he is lying, and he wants you to be in part of it. It is true that his gf will be mad at you for tell her the true. But hey what you are trying to help her. It is better to have proof though, she will believe you. If he is your best buddy than just said you dont know anything about it to his gf. You are no lying
