xbox live was always better than ps3....but i heard this requires like 128 mb of space or something, so you'll need the hd if you have the arcade versions, that means the $200 xboxes are useless? or can it be dled to a external memory. anyways ps3 seriously have to unleash "home" even though i still don't think it can beat xbox live at least it has some upgrades unlike now.

This is true, but i really dont understand why someone would want the box without a HD, they should give an option to keep the old settings though, nw they will have to buy a HD, memory cards are so last half-decade. . If they cared they would have a bunch of decent games out by now, never mind Home hehe
xbox hd's are proprietary, they retail at like 80 bucks, but i'm sure they can find it for 50 or so, still a rip off. those suckers who jumped on the arcade thought they got a bargain but apparently not cause don't they get the cheap controller also lol....those suckers hahaha
haha they get a wired controller too?? thats not good, i dont think i can handle using wired controllers again. yeah the prices of the HD are crimminal, ebay does em at a nice price though. Sony was trying to do online from when the PS2 was fresh, they have had long enough.
yea but they havent learned alot of there mistakes and well.. all the best sellers are coming out 360 only.. so they are kinda losing on that direction also
^ lol @ blue ray, doesnt do nothing in terms of getting good games but it is good if you want a blue ray player whereas most of us want a gaming console. when blue ray gets proper mainstream then the players will be cheap enough, if you aint already got the player on your pc.
not a big advantage if ya only in it for hd games, i wouldn't buy blue ray discs for just one movie and probably one viewing at a whopping 30 bucks or so! i can go to the theaters for 10 bucks and i get a more complete experience.
atm... theoretically blu-ray is a large success for the PS3... mainly since it's one reason so far that the PS3 hasn't seen "modding" done to it yet... u may argue that that's one reason why it's against PS3... but we need to remember that selling systems don't win the war, selling games do... if u "modded" ur system, how often do u buy games?... just saying of course in defense of akki... blu-ray itself non PS3 is actually doing pretty well for itself as a new format atm... movies aren't exactly $30... i mean, IronMan on BR was only $20 at some places on release... so they're just as much as DVD's essentially... and the PS3 IS the BEST blu-ray player since it gets constant Sony updates... newayz... i do like this new Live update for 360... it looks pretty badass... like the new upcoming zune os... it might indeed be enuff to counteract Sony's "Home" when it comes out this fall
