    Bet they're gonna scam the UK market again like they did with Vista. We have to pay soo much more than the US. Vista was such a badly implemented system thats why they've decided to redesign a new system so soon

    I read that Window 7 is lighter than Vista and requires less computer resources to run and simpler to use, beside that there is nothing very new in it.

    ^ i'm a little excited that Win7 will have a faster boot time, and use less resources needed. My laptop resources were all sucked up by Vista...

    ^ good find knoc....i'm wondering if windows 7 will be like xp when installing applications because having to security pop up everytime u want to do anything gets soo damn annoying

    Yeah I'd like to have Ubuntu but it just won't install properly on my machine for some reason

    that can happen sometimes, its not compatible with every piece of hardware.

    But it should cause I ran it as a demo but a full install just won't work and it's not as if my machines not powerfull enough it far exceeds the requirements Q6600 oc to 3ghz 3gb mem tons of hdd and radeon 4870

    u mean the UAC in windows Vista?? that is a so called security feature they put to annoy users (the developers admitted it...haha)
    you can turn that off in control panels, and i am thinking that they either stay in the same way, or they removed it, as we all know that it's annoying and impractical
