this is a good thing for ppl who are not overweight but sit next to them on planes i mean imagine havin to sit next to/in the between two very fat ppl... that doesnt seem too pleasant
This is not the last message you will read in Canada about crushed people -bisgmile Here is another reason why not to fly a Canadian Carrier!!! Canadian Carriers are doomed!!!
Virgin isn't Canadian, Air Canada is Canadian. I think its a good rule actually so what if obese people get 2 seats, its not like they are budding them over in the middle of my flight and kicking me out for their 2 seats. Give the obese people their seats and have them leave me alone so i can sit comfortably. It's not like i work in the airline industry and lose any more money, i have no complaints it will make my plane ride alot easier as there will be less people on the plane, less waiting time for the washroom and less annoying people/kids to sit through with. Thank you overweight people!
Unfortunatly, Airline Industry is a for profit organization. That means that the lose they make by flying obese folk for "half price" will be calculated in YOUR ticket price<_< What happened to Ang??? Ang turned Japanese :naughty: So you are 波動拳
the quote is "functionally disabled by obesity" its not like everyone who is obese will get an extra seat, doubt it will affect me enough to make me burn a hole in my wallet.
I agree, that's why I made by previous comments as it is the only fair way for airlines to pursue the issue, you pay by the pound; the more baggage you ask the airline to haul, then the more it should cost you. The way that the courts have looked at this is that ticketing is set per person, which would then subject it to discrimination laws; that is, you cannot make the fat person pay more for what is the same thing that skinny person got for less, namely a transportation trip to a destination. However, if you changed that service equation of per person per trip to one of per distance traveled per unit weight, then you've created a legal loophole. Now you're not looking at people (who can be discriminated against), but weight is what you're transporting. And as long as you treat each pound of weight the same, you cannot be found guilty of discriminatory practices. So eventually, airlines may charge tickets by the pound, similar to what they already do for excess luggage.
THAT REMINDS ME OF THE FLICK...'LOVE ON A DIET' WITH SAMMI CHENG....-lol.... BUT YEH..I THINK ITS GOOOOD...AND AND AND THEY WONT BE TAKING UP YOUR SEAT AS WELL...!!!..
