Interesting, you should get two folders after finish converting (audio_ts and video_ts). The video_ts folder should be around 4.2-4.3gb. What burning program do you use and what media are you burning it on? Try to use imgburn to burn all your dvds. Make sure the format is NTSC and not PAL Don't think you need to do anything to play the dvd, mine just play when I insert the dvd in the player. One problem might be if you play dvd+r in old player they might not read them, you need to change them to dvd-rom to play in old player.

  3. yes once you convert u should get a audio_ts and video_ts folder, now use nero and choose an option like "make dvd video from folder file" (im not sure what its called but it should be something like that) then choose all the files from the video folder and burn

  4. does the audio sync when u run converted video from your computer?

There should be a burn option that comes with Convertxtodvd, just use that and you should be fine.

  7. what u can do is try different settings and let it convert for 10mins then cancel and load up a small part of the processed video to see if it syncs up

I dunno how convertxtodvd works, but I think it would convert both languages over. To play just the one language, one way would be just to have the left or right speaker on (depending on which audio language you want to listen to)

i convert the series with both canto and mandi, instead of left right audio, both of the audio are played together, anyone know how to set the left audio?

Don't think you can do the audio setting on a standalone dvd player, you can try to switch the R/L input in the back of the dvd player to see what happen.

I have had this problem in the past.

What I have done in the past with rmvb files that have dual language tracks
is to convert it to mpeg using winavi or convertxtodvd and then use
tmpeg dvd author which has an option to separate the audio tracks
to the left and right side. Author the DVD then on the your DVD player, you
can choose the audio tracks properly using the audio button.

This is a great software. I use it to convert about 10 episodes of rmvb video to DVD Video format. For better quality, load no more than 5 episodes.

Author is just a older version before the rename, works has more options like the blue ray support, does more or less the same thing, haven't tried works yet, haven't had to.

Hey does anyone know what program and where i can get this type of program to convert old VHS tapes to DVDs? I heard someone say there is something that can do this using the DVD burner of a PC connected to a VCR.

I normally just put 5 eps per dvd, but for some show like offpeddler I use 10 eps.
I use converx2dvd then I use dvd shrink to compress and make an ISO to burn.
The audio sync issue I have are related to a bad rmvb download.
