A lot of times ppl in countries like NL only have to stay in our wonderful jails for a year or two n then its ok... in other countries like china they just shoot the guy down but is death penalty enough? I say, make them suffer as bad as they made the victims suffer n see if their sorry.... All this if there is all the evidence needed of course!
I think it's okay .. an eye for an eye sounds reasonable. I hate that us Americans are serving the inmates better than people outside. Abiding citizens are struggling to work and survive where as the prisoners sat behind bar are fed and studied for a supposedly legitimate educational degree on our tax dollars. I say give them all capital punishment .. cut back on crime, money, prison space, and most importantly, help Earth sustain already scarce resources due to over population. Due process is good but it's so flawed that's costing us BIG time. I don't believe in second chance (beside petty crimes).

If this Islamic law system of "qisas" is part of Islamic law, then the Kurds have lots of Iraqis to kill. Since the Islamic people also have "Blood feud", this killing will never end. What a waste of life and government resources. Yep, jailing folk cost us money! ... them money ...

I would actually support this kind of sentence than death, but that could be inhumane and ruins the image of a country
eye for an eye....a supposed fair sentence in what some may call an extremist muslim society...but one law that could so easily be misused where age or gender doesnt matter..
I don't know how bad prison actually is beside those portrayed in the movies. All I care is that I want my tax dollar to be better spent; not on some worthless scums who only take up space on this overcrowded planet without any proper contribution but sole existence is to terrorize people's life with perhaps endless crimes. Cruel, yes; but I rather those die than innocent and law abiding people being victimize or kill by them.
An eye for an eye, in a way it's fair, but if someone kills another person, and you kill him, what separates between you and him?
i think its flawed and some people do deserve a second chance depending on the crime. There are many things that can go wrong with the rule with innocents and guilty alike.
^ every judicial systems is with flaws but you can't allow those who actually commit the crime live as if they're on lifetime vacation with our tax money when we could better spend those money for things like education and healthcare.
lets not think murder here but on the smaller scale of how things can go wrong with the eye for an eye rule.
