you live in australia you have access to many other tuners and kit fabricators than peopl in the US have access too...i wouldn't just limit yourself to the stuff that you see in the US
in a sense yes... but most of them are just copy kits all shipped out from china or something... sure they'll fit (after hacking at it) but ideally u'd want the real thing (pending budget) and for all the decent quality stuff, ur gonna have to get it shipped from germany/japan/US theres nothing of "great" quality locally unfortauntely =( just hope aud/jpy goes back up, then yahoo auctions is gonna b fun lol

What is nice of this phone is the full QWERTY keyboard and the touchscreen but the rest of it i think that is so so. The Camera is better than the Iphone but the look of the G1 is terrible. One word: UGLY But i think that if u don't care about the look of the phone. The phone have a loot of Google apps. If u r a google fan go for it. Also T-Mobile have 3G in USA, it i will be cool having a 3G Plan...
actually the phone isn't that ugly... looks better in person... seriously.. lol and the 3g network isn't as great as the one for AT&T with the iphone.... and plus using 3g sucks this phone battery fast!... using it like a computer with 3g will last you about a few hours... ridiculous! the phone is about functionality and it has all that, the browser is good and the apps are available to download for free.
