i used to save streaming internet files by digging it up in C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files then drag and drop it onto a different location... but this method doesn't seem to work for the clips on tvb.com :( i've seen ppl posting clips from tvb.com on youtube... does anyone know how they manage to get the file?? >.<
Which browser do you use? Just find out where the temporary files for your browser is saved. Try: C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\[browser name]\cache That's how I get my stuff when using Opera
If these are flash videos, then try to use the following: http://keepvid.com/ http://www.zamzar.com/url/ I only have experience with the 1st one.
Go download Internet Download Manager, then watch a clip on tvb then right-click on any where on the screen and go to Download flv video with IDM --> download last requested flv video then tada you have your clip. However, if there are animated adds on the page then you might have to click the option of chooose last 10 flv video and sort through them. If you need a copy of IDM just msg me.
thanks guys... but all these programs only grabs this annoying flv add that plays at the begining of every clip i watch... n i think the clips on tvb.com r mp4 files not flv...
http://drama.tvb.com/thegemoflife/promo/ if u can show me how to grab any videos on this page it'd b great!!! -hug
If I look at the source of this page, then it seems to indicate that they are using protected streams: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protected_Streaming So I don't think there is an easy and free way of capturing these streams other then using one of these programs: Replay Media Catcher (http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/) WM Capture (http://www.wmrecorder.com/wm_capture.php) I have just tested the demo of both of them and Replay Media Catcher seems to be the best.
you could try using firefox theres an extension called download helper that lets you download streamed videos i hope it helps
i tried the first one... hmmm... it doesn't seem to work... -down i got that too haha... and no luck... *sigh*
