http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2008/12/boy_killed_mom_and_shot_dad_ov.html the article said he was so sorry for what he had done... honestly i think he's only sorry that he didn't get away with it..... this kid is batshit insane
lol thats a hilarious gif bush might suck at being president, but he definitely knows how to dodge a shoe or two
Violent Video games (and current culture) are only a small contributory part of it; so it isn't 100% to blame, but there is ample proof of how repeated video training (like flight sims or combat sims) perfects certain skill sets, be they violent or not. How much causal relation one could assign to video games per se (over an incident like this) is subjective and has been argued about ad infinitum. :rolleyes2: Be that as it may, this "kid" obviously has severe anger management issues that go way beyond that. -dead
maybe also consider see it the other way: more voilent kids (hidden or not) plays more violent games?
no doubt you may be right, but the issue that i have a problem with though, is that people are automatically blaming video games for unfortunate incidents, making baseless claims like video game addiction (which according to scientific studies, is false) and make stupid claims like this person here: i could copy paste two essays i wrote, but there's no point. the idea that people blame something and generalize their false belief for an incident that occurs like 1% of the time just aggravates me. these people need to get their shit straight before making such stupid claims. that may be a good theory, but you gotta remember that a lot of non-violent people play violent games, yet don't turn out like this freak.
when you play games tooo much they are always in your head, this guy prolly got into it so much that shooting someone became a possible choice and he took it. I believe the game had a part to do with it combined with all the other messed up stuff in society, its often said that video games get demonized yet movies with people shooting other people and blowing things up is acceptable.
man i remember how i use to feel when i was addicted to like sc when i was 10-13 yrs old then addicted to RO and then addicted to war3 n then cs n stuff like that games are pretty strong in terms of things that can fuk up a kid psychologically, but this kid is whacked holy shit i'd never thought bout murdering cuz i didnt get the chnace to play, i just whine n cry n yell, but murder? no waiz, although the parents were pretty unreasonable, hahaa halo3!
but this time is is about the video game..... he couldn't play it so he shot them..... kida definitely got some issues...
the most sad thing (in that kid's point of view) is maybe that he never going to play a game again if he gets lifetime (even more sad: Didn't finished Halo 3 before he were captured). That is a ironic punishment for a "gamer"
