rotas arent that bad if its a daily driver car. but if you run it on the track then obviously its gonna bend and crack like those pics. those rotas are like that cause theres cheap people who dont spend the money on a decent set of rims for track. why would you spend like 2k for daily driver car =\ when you arent even using it for its purpose. theres a post about those rota rims. theres a subzero that was warped from tracking. cause honestly i think rotas are more for show than track =\ just my opinion though.
There are cheap LV replica wallets for sale for 10$, would you buy one? I'd got to Ogilvy and get myself the real deal. Rims are like shoes, it gives the car an identity. You wouldn't wear fake LV or Gucci shoes would you? Because that's pretenting to be something you aren't. Same goes to rims. And it really that bad. Even on the streets. I've seen so too many pics of people's nice riding on their disc brakes and what's left of the rims half way into the fender. Save 1500$ on rims, spend 2000$ later to replace fender, bumper, brakes, control arms, shocks, and the fake Rota. No hard feelings
wow thanx guys... the guy tryin to sale to car for 5G and I unno how to post the pic sorry. I was in the auto shop with my friend today he is getting a blue bird in his 92 Nissan SER. he spend 3G on a 30,000 motor and with other crap he put on the car he spend about 4G. I ask the boss if he can hook me up with a b18 and he end up trying to get me a Type R motor complete with transmission everything that will make the car run for $4,800 including the labor. so i unno i'm thinking about is it worth it to spend about 5G on the car.
Since your swapping motors anyways, try to find a car that has a blown motor and body in decent shape. Shouldn't cost 5K for a EG or EK civic with a blown motor.
4.8k is a little over the top even for a c5....see if u can bring it down about $500 and that's about right...
ok....most of my friends want me to get a Acura RSX type S and I really like the car. but the price is round 10G if I want to get a decent use one. what u guys think??/
RSX-s isn't a bad choice. If you have the money and you like it and test drove one, then go for it. There's lots of after-market support for the RSX. 10k....how many km's on it? body condition? Try to get a Car Proof if you don't know the seller.
