    How fast the drive writes is inconsequential to the transmission speed, where data can be cached and then written if there is a large enough memory buffer. That said, the quoted speed is actually faster than Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable's rated transmission speed. Cat 7 will transmit at 10 Gigabit, but this type of cable is generally not used within the US. And despite that high speed, his ping is 39? LOL...

    Conclusion? Fake.

    If you notice the upload speed and ping is about the same. That means only your download was being affected, and most likely by other traffic. I've seen my line go from anywhere around 15 Mbps tp the mid 30's. It hovers around 22 or so. Keep doing the test on various days of the week and hours of the day. It will give you a better idea of when traffic is heaviest in your area.

    pretty crappy. it costs me $199.95AUD per month which is like $310+USD.
