I saw the Dutchess.. not a bad movie but I really didn't feel the romance in it =/ great costumes tho ^^
The Place Promised in Our Early Days which was really good... and Twilight.. never read the books but after watching the film don't know whether to read the book anymore.. and I feel the need to have buffy marathon..
Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story (2004) Oh man Jamie Foxx is such a good actor, great storyline
everybody told me this was GOOOOOD flick...and when i watched i just got the 'is that it..?' feeling...yesh it was sad...but it wasnt as goood as everybody said it was.... the fight in the pubic baths scene was yuckkky.....i had to look away...and when someone told me it was over i looked up...it was when the guy stabbed the killers in the eye...-sick2...
^that was a pretty good movie although i liked history of violence better, lol you think that scene was yucky....in history of violence half of this guy's jaw was hanging from his face haha. but yea bad nudity at least not what i want to see.... anyways saw righteous kill, a bad movie with pacino and deniro...and 50 cent. and jim jones (WTF) fuck that shit. also saw ghost town, pretty funny movie at some point. overall its a decent love comedy. also watched traitor, it was alright, but it wasn't realistic. well at some points it tries to be clever but you realize that it is still pretty much over the top. and the character actions sometimes make you feel like wtf, that shit ain't gonna happen in real life. the suspense is there though. and also it does raise a point that terrorists can be anyone, anywhere. but i don't think trying to make you feel sorry for one of them actually works. another thing is the movie should've been rated r so it can show more stuff.
opinions? i've heard mixed things. Last movie i watched was Die Hard 2: Die Harder fucking epic movie, should have won some oscars imo
They played it safe. Nothing exciting or fancy here. Good cgi. If you saw the first one and like it, then you'll like this one also. Knoc
Blindness....pretty damn great film by all the acting and the tense moments. feels really disturbing and gritty. its like a zombie flick but it's not actually about zombies but a real life disability, though some illogical things prevents it from being perfect: Spoiler Julianne Moore's character was pretty much a coward although you can understand what she's going through at the moment and what type of person she's portraying, shes a turd for letting that gangbang rape go through, that was probably one of the most disturbing rape scene (psychologically/ not really shown in too explicit detail though i would say) i've seen in a movie, you just wished those motherfuckers get shot in the face. also the ending wasn't that good i would say, it was also pretty confusing at first cause i didn't understand what danny glover's character was trying to imply. another gripe is that the setting was all the way in the past, people can adapt and live with blindness with the knowledge we have now, but instead the government goes into panic and treats the "infected" like they aren't humans anymore. i know its sorta a social commentary on human nature and behavior, but in the event of an epidemic in the present state we're in, i don't think we're going to be stripped of all our rights and be put into a cell and be killed without reason, also saying this because the movie is about something that doesn't seem too "out of this world."
Just watched the Wrestler, damn this movie dunno what to say. its good but its also very depressing. I've watched professional wrestling for years and i watched documentaries/ behind the scenes and such for professional wrestlers. this movie basically sums up all the tragedy and makes wrestling seem like a drug and from what i read and witness over the years i think its right. No surprise that its a depressing movie though since its by the director of Requiem for a Dream, but i wouldn't discuss the characters fates. This is a movie that can make you cover your eyes when a wrestler takes a "fake" wrestling bump if you don't know how it goes down. I know what happens but seeing it on film still makes me cringe. Some mick foley/ sabu/ terry funk shit goes on. I think it's going to have a bigger effect on wrestling fans but even without the wrestling storyline, the characters drama is going to effect most people. Also i couldn't see the connection of the professional wrestling job and stripping until this movie. both of those professions require a person to play a character but during realtime, not like a movie. also some people get soo addicted to their alter ego that they can't shed it. "The Wrestler" basically gives a botched piledriver to the people who says that professional wrestling is a joke, but it wouldn't make them fans either. More so, it might have an opposite effect. Like animal cruelty, professional wrestling kind of does the same to humans. Damn just saw two depressing ass movies today that kinda gives you that sick feeling, gotta watch some comedy with hot chicks (pointing at how to lose friends and alienate people...)
i just saw Twilight... it was rather disappointing... the movie made seem to teeny girly... n it was dragging on so much... but the Bella in the movie is less annoying than wot the book make her sounds like which is good... the Bella in the book is gloomy and drowning in self-pity i just wanna slap her... dunno y all the male characters can't seem to get their hands off her... i give this movie 7/10... but any vampire movie automatically gets at least a 4 -lol
i never meant to watch this film... i d/l for a fd n was just fixing up the subtitles for him so i kinda watched it a lil n i found this quiet good so i actually sat down n watched it hahaha... the fight was typical western fighting style... nothing breathing taking like Jet Li or Donnie Yan... but ionno... i liked it the acting was good hahaha...
