I was at best buy today because i wanted to get a price match on a keyboard i wanted to buy. It was on sale at infonec for 63.99 and it was sold at best buy for like 130something (pretty good deal) but yea they kept on telling me that because infonec charged a restock fee that they couldnt honor the price match. Which is really stupid because on the best buy website, their lowest price guarantee policy clearly states that it only needs to be an identical product which is available and in stock for sale. After spending like 30 mins there talking with just about everyone in the freakin customer service dept. I got left with a number to the head office to call. I call the number and the rep tells me they've filed an inquiry with the store but they're still not promising to do anything about it. Its such a piss off that i wasted so much time at the stupid store because they couldnt even honor their own written policy on their website. (IT WAS PRINTED ON THE FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK TOO) anyone have similar experience at bb?
bb and fs SUCK at price matching..u need like REALLY good sales associates to price match cause they come up with liek 100 excuses y they can't price match...i never done it b4 but i hear MANY stories
i never get scamed cause i could use my employee discount.... if they said no to the policy u should of went to another best buy and tried to do the same... either that buy it at the other place for cheaper cause sum sales ppl and store managers r stupid.
lol i went to bb to have a price match on a product, i forgot what. the product was also sold at canada computers, and the excuse they gave me was that canada computers was not a legitimate authorized retailer of the product. so i was like, ok, that's fine. i'm just gonna go ahead and buy it from the other place, since you don't honor the price match sign that's right behind you.
oh they do fs too i priced match against fs once and they honored it like that means anything since bb owns fs lol
wow, that's horrible experience! i never had such issue, I always get the price-match price, I even had them price match my apple laptop to the student price offered at the apple store, the key is just be a smooth talker and always compliment on how well they doing and how wonderful the service is, always got what i wanted that way,
many would bs on anything because they can't afford to loose so much money on them, fs/bb overhead cost a lot. i never PM stuff like that
I find that they would only do a price match if you bring them a filer to prove the price. They always do it for me.
Yeah that's best buy for you alright!! Last time I asked them to price match a set of Logitech 5.1 surround sound speakers they "called" and then said the other store didn't have the model in stock at the other store...I took a picture and made sure it was the same model # etc. Still they wouldn't give it to me. So stupid...
