when you watch a vid just add: &fmt=18 at the end, no spaces and you can watch or listen to whatever in HD, not all vids give the option even though they can be watched in a higher quality. im sure some of you know this already so dont bother saying "i know it!!!", i just found out a few mins ago so get posting next time >.<
Little youtube trick #2 you can dl youtube vids by pasting the link on this website http://keepvid.com/ it will generate 2 links, which u just need right click ->download x) u can dl them in .flv or mp4 (high quality) =]
^ just get DownloadHelper for firefox, one button to dload youtube vids or any other vid http://www.downloadhelper.net/
lol, you can just change the settings for your account so that all vids play in HD by default >.< if you don't use firefox, you just add "pwn" before youtube in the address bar and you can download the video in either flv or mp4 format. [ex. "www.pwnyoutube.com"]
Youtube Trick #3: You can use either: 1) http://www.mediaconverter.org/ or 2) http://media-convert.com/ and convert youtube vids to various formats including mp3 or jpeg
^ whuts the actual difference..?...people tell me to just watch HQ = higher quality...saying thas the best...?.
You Skimmer >.< i don't think there is a difference, not like someone is gona watch youtube on a 40inch HD screen so i think it all boils down to better video quality and sound
Its just a bit clearer. If you download the HD version its really big on my screen, though I only have a 17" monitor though so I dunno.
Any sites or program that you guys use to download mp3 off youtube with high quality? I've used FetchMP3.com for awhile but the quality isn't the best but its generally quick.
Any audio ripped from youtube can't be top quality as youtube converts the audio into a much smaller file size 64-96(kbits/s). Unless you rip the audio from the HD vids which have 232(kbits/s) audio
^yeah, the only significant difference that i've noticed when watching HD youtube vids is the audio quality. Some videos show hardly any difference between normal and HD. Some do become a little clearer though. i have my pc plugged into a 32" HDTV 24/7 so yeah, i watch everything on HD haha.
I would download the youtube video in wateva format Then use AoA Audio Extractor, then use Audacity to boost the quality of the mp3. Time consuming.. but it works -shrug
