the lowest price right now i can find is $6880 HKD. maybe the price will drop a lil bit more, it only came out around 2 week only right now.
^well at the hk price that works out to be UK£600 (thanks to the crap exchange rate) but buy on uk contract the total would be £680 or so. only prob is, going for the sim free phone, still means you have to pay for a pay as you go sim every month on top of that 600, whereas contract already includes minutes and texts so thats a reasonable price sim free i guess
Yeah, but i hate being lock into a phone contact. it sucks and over in Aust you have to pay for the contact + the phones. Eg. my friend pays $40 for his contact gets him around $240 worth of calls and text + $15 for his phone. so he pays mini $55 a month. so different join a contact or not over here.
In HK, you have the imported version and the local version. Which one do you prefer? The imported ones are usually cheaper due to the fact that they have no warranty and there is a chance that the manual and the print is in a foreign language like Japanese. So what shall it be?
I picked up the English version. its HK stock from the supplier but it was pretty hard to get because there wasn't much stock of the English version in HK. I went to a few of the bigger stores eg. Broadway, Fortress and etc. most didnt have stock at all. There wasnt much stock of the HD (english and chinese version) in the whole of HK. yeh that is true and them phone a normally from small shop and i dont trust them. I'm scare of them taking orignal parts out and replacing them with fake stuff. HTC Touch HD was around 6880 HTC Touch Pro was around 6300 BTW the HTC TOUCH HD is so good. Love the phone.
the x1 is a nice phone but the HTC touch HD came out better. bigger screen. TouchFlo function. as for ease of use, they are both Windows Mobile OS, so its pretty much the same.
imo.. don't waste your money on a cell phone unless you can get one for a good deal.. they just depreciate so fast.. i learned this the hard way and hopefully can help u save some money haha
if the phone does it's money worth, then i don't see why not spend a little bit more. saved me from buying a gps (got tomtom on it), laptop (can read lecture notes off it and do some word editing.) & edit.
yea tbh it does depend, i mean u might as well spend a little extra for a phone which u will be satisfied and does everything u want it to than a phone which doesn't which then depreciates and then u end up buying another phone in a short space of time again which in all adds up to more than before.
