i thought myolies album was better than linda's but thats just me...khalil won big awards! so he took justin's spot now? last i checked justin was alot more popular than khalil ...maybe the radio just don't like gold label artists they haven't won anything so far this year at these awards.
I'M SO PROUD OF KHALIL!!!!! I can't believe he knocked down Leo and Eason. I'm not surprised that he is more popular than Justin right now.. because Justin has really been losing it lately. And this is coming from a once HUGE JUSTIN FAN.. I mean, both Justin and Khalil have come out with the same amount of albums but clearly Justin's last two albums weren't that good.. especially compared to Khalil's last two albums which were amazing!! Khalil definitely deserves this for all the hard work he's done. It was hard for him to make it in the HK market because he was a mandarin singer afterall. However, his talent is undeniable. He's been underrated for too long and he's finally coming up! I can't wait to see how 2009 will go for him. So proud for Khalil!! His win was a shock but it's amazing considering: 1) He ONLY plugs mando songs in a canto market ... difficult to get popular with HK crowds 2) He was only a new comer in 2005 and to jump into top 3 within 3 years is an AMAZING feat, and not only top 3, but getting GOLD while beating Leo and Eason at the same time (even though 2008 wasn't that great a year for either of them) !!! Wow, just so amazing! No wonder Fi cried for him =D Hope he can carry this momentum into 2009 as well! Orange Moon is definitely one of his best albums thus far even though it's the most "pop" album he's composed. And don't forget that he's also composed around 4 or 5 #1 songs across the Four Stations as well so 2009 is really looking good so far =D
