Yep, I would rather choose for love instead of luxury. Because if you choose luxury instead of love, you are only lying to yourself, the only one that is suffering in the end is you. I mean in the end you are going to stay with her, because of the kids. Since you don’t want the kids get hurt, you decide to stay with her. Being with a woman that you don’t love isn’t fair for both parties.... (Damn dramas) But you can also have a luxury life, and get the love also... Get married and go strange..... Sorta like a double life? And if you divorce, ur still will get the half of the fortune of your ex-wife.... Then the being 'poor problem' is solved. -whistle
marry Madonna (or McCartney if you are a girl). Get divorce (no reason needed) and take some hundred millions with you to start a new life (not to meason the extra millions people wants to get you to write a book or two)
this topic made me think of the tvb show 'the gem of life' mebe coz im watching at the mo haha but i think its a hard question to answer really....coz...we all say we'll choose 'lub' but in reality you cant eat/live off each others lub...you need money..to survive right..?..and i know people are gonna say...lub blinds you etc.... but thinking realistically...i think most people will choose luxury...plus if you lub the person.. you wouldnt want them to be poor right..?...like that chin saying..starve wife in smelly house to actually have an answer....i guess ya need to be in that situation to decide..and lets face it 2 guys/gurls liking you...1 poor and 1 rich....seems quite unlikely...haha
^ Lots of dramas are based on rich and poor wor. Poor dude falls in love with a rich girl or vica versa...... and lots of drama to test their love... will happen, and in the end they will live hapilly ever after. Or they will just die. Romeo+Julia? Well, I cant really imagine it either that this scenario will happen in realife. And what is considered poor?, cant afford to have 3 meals a day? In Eu, the goverment takes care of ya. You basically dont have to work.... And how do you know that you are going to be poor for life, cause you dont know what will happen in the future. The first few years is always hard, but that is where the relationship is being tested. I guess, it depends where you live and what is considered poor...

I think those of us that are fortunate enough to live decent lives (family that has a house, cars, kids going to school/secondary edu., etc.) will choose to marry the person that he/she loves. On the other hand, those of us that are poorer would most definitely choose to marry rich. .
lol if you marry for money make sure they only have a year to live, but that would be like sleeping next to a corpse everynight and having to get penetrated/ penetrate a living corpse also...do i make this sound dirty? good it was my good intentions. anyways i guess it depends if you are a lazy person who is not willing to go out and do things why not. if you like the person and they have money, win/win. and my answer would be that it depends on my financial situation, but i think most will choose the love/poor situation at a younger age and as they grow, they will choose the rich/no love over the love/poor cause they desire the luxury and they don't want to work hard.
People know that it's the right thing to do that you marry a person regardless of his wealth but in reality, most people would prefer a life of luxury over being poor. Love is a foundation for all relationship; however, love today means different from the past. Perhaps this is a stretch but let's look at marriage. It used to be a pledge for life commitment richer or poorer but now, it's like a bus where people hop on and off like it's a game. I can't say that everyone acts the same but generally, people follow the $ over their own initial feeling these days especially the younger ones .. they're so much more materialistic than the older generations ...lol .. who can blame them .. .lol

the K-drama im watching is im sorry, i love you... the guy's gf leaves him for a rich european man and he ends up finding out that he should be rich too if his mother did not throw him away after birth... but neways, wouldnt the poor guy/girl be relucant to be with him/her since he cannot give him/her the happiness that he/she deserves?
