apparently, this is a big concern in china. I've been told and seen pictures of plenty of girls who are married to old farts. PS: not a good thing.
I am not sure what to say to that .. are these gals married due to family situation or whole heartedly wanted the money ... i have heard stories that some do it cuz of family; not for themselves.

you never can really choose one till you have been through a situation in real life... since you want stuff you cant get.. thats just really something human.. i cant really choose one.. just to hard to say i like being rich.. but i also wanna be happy.. so hard
bulba! it's such a hot topic for girls lol for a guys it's like.. would you choose a ridiculously hot girl who doesn't lift a finger or a decent looking girl that will cook and clean and warm your feet when they get cold (mmmm submission) or my own version how about a girl that blows your mind with sex appeal or a girl that blows your mind with just pure awesomeness that would be insane.. in fact i see a love triangle brewing (the cool girl ends up cheating on me with the hot one of course.. then i walk in.. damn i should be a adult film producer) oh yeah i also read somewhere a girl will usually end up have both.. the dude with the money to provide for her and her children.. and the hot pool guy (you think that's a myth but one of my buddies worked as a pool guy for a summer.. dude.. nobody's kidding around)
I can say... I choose LOVE with 1 condition... The guy should be working or studying... So that I know he's working on a future not worthless (I'm not saying he has to do some big carriere thing). People could say I'm materialistic... But be realistic... Every girls wants to have a secure life... With only love you can't make that happen. I don't need a rich guy... But I need a guy who can give me a good en happy life =) Love AND security... ^^
I don't belive that ANYONE should convince themselve that they will live a poor life with their soul mate, only people who are pessimistic would believe that. Remember you make the quality, luxious, rich life or vice versa.
What I think is: A) If the person you love is poor (as well you are), there's no point in being together. Everyone knows that love will end as soon as you will keep on fighting what to eat... You even cannot have kids, you don't want to make them suffer with you... You won't be full, warm, life secured because of love. Even the biggest love will die... B) Being with a guy only because of that he is rich is really, really dumb. Most of the people need warm hand to hug and touch you, kiss you and squeeze you... Even if this person will be the nicest in the whole world, you cannot give back the feelings you are receiving... You love someone else and you will keep on thinking about this person until the rest of your life. Besides that - you might sell him down the river....

I prefer love than luxury because luxuries things cannot stays with you, including money, when you are gone (in heaven), but for love, it stays inside your heart forever.
