This will probably come out pretty quickly. Microsoft is trying to get this OS out as fast as they can since the US goverment departments banned the use of vista.
It looks great and I read from many tech blogs it's going to be really good. can't wait till it comes out so I can test it out...on my mac
meh... IMO Windows 7 is just an enhancement of Vista... not a new OS ... the interface is so dull... they even copy Mac OSX dock bar concept... i can get the similar interface in my Windows Xp....
all future windows will be based on vista anyways, and more "WOW" factors means more power/resource hog my vista on laptop gets up and running in < 20 secs
Not going to jump on the hype bus this time round, I sold my vista and went back to xp, I will wait it out this time.

It is like vista. Except it uses less memory and so. Basically a faster vista. Everyone that used the beta is loving
Let's just hope this isn't going to flamed like vista did with the all the bugs.... and it works as good as it looks -.- .. quick marketing strategy vista hasn't been in for that long and a new OS is coming out....
Never use anything from Microsoft unless it's at least three years old. This is especially so with Operating Systems. Right now, nothing that I'm doing on my computer requires a new OS.
You will need a beta key or else the beta will expires within 30 days.. i would not recommend you to dual boot with vista+7
I can't confirm this but I've been told that you need to upgrade from Vista Sp1 to Windows 7 for it to work.
wonder if this is run through fusion... its got lower specs than vista so should be ideal for emulation and netbooks...
