reminder to take off number plates b4 u get on track =) @gordon, the r35 the weird bits (so i believe anyway lol) its now an RWD! =D and has a proper MANUAL gearbox (the non H pattern one forgot the name arghhhh - tho seriously... i wouldn't know how to use that properly hhahaha, given its a sequential one) and a clutch pedal!! =) and i'm smart enuff to have moved the car into garage just b4 the rain hits!! =D
Ohh, I just realized after reno posted it. Theres no flappy paddle anymore..... the shifter doesn't look like it goes anywhere. lol. It looks sequential but.........whatever, I don't know. hahaa. My car's parked in the snow, and it's still snowing.......=(
that's what i was saying lol gordon said it wasn't it though lol i went to the thread, and the dude said there's 3 paddles now, which was the weird thing apparently
^^ I don't get it!! lol It looks sequential, but there's a clutch pedal........ gordan has to tell everyone the secret now!!! lol.
i read some of the articles on it its for drift =D http://www.gtrblog.com/index.php/2009/01/09/tokyo-auto-salon-2009-blitz-r35-gt-r-goe?blog=4 it says its MANUAL... but uses hollinger sequential box... no idea how it works tho =/
It is. but I wanted someone to say no more fail-o-matic gearbox. and 3 pedals -lol Welcome to a new age for the R35. Hollinger 6speed sequential gearbox with proper rear wheel drive. Who cares if we can't launch the car from 0-60mph faster then the ZR1 or the souped up Beetle. dann, you were somehow right: the shifting rod doesn't go anywhere to the OEM fail-o-matic.
How needs launch control, all that does is break your tranny. lol. I don't know why they converted to rwd. Drifting still is capable with awd. Then there's fwd e-brake action!
Oh really eh......hmmm, that must suck. Would be pretty awesome to see. I think Forumla D allows awd's.
lol i was watching some drifting competitions on tv cuz i was bored, and it brought back memories from the days in high school after F&F Tokyo Drift, everyone wanted to drift with stock cars lol
i thought they would of stripped everything out of the drift car. i guess they left the o shit handle in there for this purpose i remember the first drift comp in la.... there was this guy in a accord trying to drift his car but ended up just hanging the turns. hahah it was so funny. he should of used his ebrakes
