I went today, man it was freezing!! and it was also snowing at intervals. I was watching the festival dance show at trafalgar square but then it got too cold so I just went chinatown to eat followed by troc.

    Did anyone enjoy this event?

i went with someone and his friends and took pictures and made videos ~ but i dont have them, my friend does, so hopefully he'll send them to me soon or he uploads them here himself ~ but yeah its was freezing and i swear i was on the verge of getting frostbite or encase in an iceblock :D but there were some cool spectators there, some Mandarin singers ~ and my friends friend was nuts and sang out loud and danced to it ~ was funny :D and there was a girl who was the Worlds Record Holder for the Hoola Hoops and OMG she was amazing. span 5 rings on her legs and arms, one ring on each and eventually span a huge bundle of rings and it span like a tornado it would. impressive stuff. but i feel sorry for them performers, they wore so little and it was Freezin!!! ~ saw the Lion dance in CHinatown going round each restaurants, it was sooo crowded, hard to navigate through when it was peak time ~ but overall i enjoyed it despite the cold!!! >.< went to Covent Garden and Troc as well and had Dim Sum like the same place as we did for the London PA Meeting ~

So many people >.< dont the other Chinatown in the other countries have something similar happening too???

@Natsu: Im glad you enjoyed the event, I didnt enjoy it cause it was so cold, too cold to just stand there, I would have definitely caught the flu + Hypothermia if I had stay there any longer. I did also feel sorry for the performers wearing so little clothing. Ah, so you went JoyKingLau, I went to Cafe deu Hong Kong with my friends.

@BBear: you should be glad you didnt go, with that kind of weather. Exactly I was surprised it didnt happen last week. But this event was broadcasted on the chinese Radio, so I guess thats how word got spread round

@BBear: lol, fun? You wouldnt be saying that when you fall ill the next day, lol. But it was really crowded though, Plus they completely sealed off parts of the area, so it was difficult getting there by car, Also the parts of the tube was closed off during that time, so even more frustration

I didnt take any pics, but i took a video of that firework display

got there by car, the car was parked so far, so I had to walk to there. Was so cold walking there :(

I just saw a bunch of females singing with skint clothing, I felt sorry for them singing in such cold weather
