Hi, want to buy a new car but i can't decide for which one to choose. The car will be drive by me: male around 20ish, Transportation to school and work, The car will be drive by me, most of the time there will be non passenger with me Also I want a 4 door. So it will be an accord 4 door and Civic Si 4 door I don't have too much money to spend, around 22k ~ 24k car will be max what can u guy recommend me? I was thinking in the Honda Accord 4door 4 cylinder or the Honda Civic Si
Your talking about the 8th generation Accord right? Well, for sporty-ness the Si takes it. I've never driven an Si before, but heard it's pretty fun to drive. K20, LSD, 6 Spd. If your not tracking, none of that matters. lol. The accord had more room, softer suspension and 1 less gear. But has more displacement then the Si. The Accords does have more torque, but less horsepower. For practicality I would have to say the Accord. Yah, it's bigger, slower and a little less attractive. But the accord doesn't require Premium 91 or higher. Also, I think civic insurance would be a little more expensive for you if your under 25, i think. Accords ftw!!!
no. But for an average daily commuter like you, the more you have displacement, it means, your engine will makes less effort to get from stops to traffic speed. The Accord is spacious, good looking, comfortable compared to the nervous Si. Like Ralliart said, K20 6 speed LSD none will really matter. It will help you put down all the power to use effectively. I'm sure you will never rev your car all the way to 6000-7000rpm to get those 200hp then again, for ppl like ralliart and me, new cars = too much electronics that gets in our way. Good old front engine, rear wheel drive, turbo, LSD, and a good set of suspension.
Gordans right, Their to many electronics in the newer car nowadays that constantly changing this, adjusting that, shifting this. In a way, you don't drive the car, the car drives you. Noo, everybody drives a corolla!! Their everywhere!. lol.>.< edit: honda>nissan hahahaa
well if u probably want ur insurance to be lower and so i would recommend an Accord its also more practical
i think u should go for the si. its a pretty roomie car with good response in power. one of my coworkers bought a new one n its pretty nice. i test drove his car and i have to say it handles pretty well. plus its smaller than the accord so its easier to find parking
If you have rarely any passengers, get the s2k. If that's the issue. But jeesus christ, decide on your own. These 2 cars are fairly different in class.
