Solar energy

    To reduce reliance of fossilised fuels, coal and oil, there should be more attempts to rely on solar energy. World governments should use solar energy for generating hot water for use in hospitals and press for private sectors to do so like in hotels.

    Its not an efficient enough source of renewable energy, thats why its not used everywhere

    ^ coz theres not enough sun in the uk for it to work....=/

    have seen some new office places that have wind thingys (cant think of the word) though...

    that is one issue,

    plus the process used is really inefficient, so you literally need huge areas of space for solar panels to generate a sensible amount of energy. good for calculators and watches, but no good for anything which actually uses a decent amount of power

    Problem with solar cells is that they only convert about 15% of the actual energy from the sun into electricity, before solar becomes a viable energy source someone has to figure out how to eek out more watts from the same amount of sunlight
