i got nothing for my wife but we have been together for a while so its ok she didnt get anything for me either. this is some made up holiday by retailers anyways.
^ It sounds like your wife is stingy to spend anything on you. [Just joking] I think this holiday is nothing special to really worth celebrating.
^ you will only say this when you: 1. you dont have a partner 2. your partner isnt really that special anymore (long relationship )
ohhh, so this year me and my bf decided to stay home (the day before valentine's we went out to eat a dinner and drink warm beer) and cook us a delicious dinner... we had some ideas (failed) and in the end we cooked home made burgers with fried potatoes hahaha. that was fun tho <3 besides that we spent whole day in bed watching movies, talking and laughing <3 and i've got earrings! he shouldn't have but... he wanted. for me, you should have valentine's every day, not only 14/02...
valentines is just a day whereby businesses use to be able to market and get huge profits. anyway what did u get resentless?
I agree with that. V-day is nice, although businesses take advantage of this day hugely for marketing and commercialism. Plus, restaurants are packed with people on this day and it's sometimes not worth the wait. If you want to spend time with your SO, you can do so on any other day. Doesn't have to be on V-day particularly. My bf and I didn't do anything that day. We just mainly acknowledged that yes, it was V-day, but we will arrange to do something on a different day.
on valentine's day, i date with my bed and pillow with my mobile turned off... what a nice day to date in peace... hehehe
Agreed, Resentless. bbes, you can say "<insert holiday> is just a day whereby businesses use to be able to market and get huge profits" for just about any holiday. [rhetorical]Are ya sure that's all you two were doing?[/rhetorical]
