that's not when the 1st gen touch was released, that's when the first update for the touch was released, a la the 32gb release we don't know, that's just a guide line... the problem is apple is also restructuring a bit cuz ipod's have been out a while and the market's been pretty saturated... they could do it this summer along with most of their notebook updates in time for school, or they could spring it in september... they didn't reveal much this year at macworld...
One could argue whether or not a upgrade in memory is an "update" so to speak ~ I mean all it really involved was installing another 16 GB flash memory slot in there and just creating the firmware
Ok nevermind, I need an ipod to keep me focus when I am at the gym so I might as well get one now. I made my decision; it's the Ipod Classic. The reason is cuz I have over 10,000 songs so it's good to load them all in one and the price is reasonable. The touch one is good too but it's expensive and the can't put much songs in it. Thanks ya'll.
^ Just be careful with it i.e. don't drop it or shake it about too much ~ Because its a HDD player, the HDD could go crazy if you drop it etc.
well ipod classic is the cheaper and bigger ipod so i would go for it usually and functions well as an mp3 player but if u want to use the internet u couldn't. its just i think an ipod touch would be pretty gd for me at uni cos they have wifi and some lectures get so boring, it would be quite useful to surf the web or watch youtube videos lol. @BB yea my gym has big tvs which run music videos which is why i don't need an mp3 player when in the gym.
^ I joined 24 Hr-Fitness gym and it's very shitty. There are big tvs and loud music; but nothing I like.
hey .. i got the classic already but i saw the nano at the costco today when dropped by to pick up some food .. how do i know it's 4th generation or not??? they look the same to me .. cheaper .. consider getting another one in case i lose another one ... lol
4th gen has a 2" screen and it is a rectangle.. it also as sharp edges.. 3rd gen is a square -lol w/ 1.8" screen new: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_nano?mco=MTE3MzA old: http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB249LL/A?mco=MjE0NTU0MQ
ic .. thanks .. costco sells things cheap so sometimes things are old model .. just checking to make sure it's no old stuffs .. lol .. they also have the touch one .. i need to see the real thing to decide if i want to get that instead of the nano ..
^ i don't go to store and shop for things these days .. usually online .. i only drop by for food ..lol .. i don't have the patience nor time to stand and read label for hours or walked back and forth for things. the only time i do that is for a bed or something that is very expensive and personal where i need to see it in person for quality check kinda thing.
touch v2 for sure, as it has almost what most players need with the exception of a fm tuner and better sound quality, but no one really notices anyways. but the appstore is alone is a strong reason to get it. plus, very supportive community of it for any probems and questions. personally don't like any other ipods, as they are just normal players that have been advertised really well and has a strong brand name.
