^ AFTER you pass your test, not before The woman was a nub, she should have slowed down enough to not cause a splash that would reach a person sitting at the bus stop, not that hard really.
^ ive never been told ya need to slow down to NOT splash people wor... if anything i remember when i 1st started out driving i had a habit of driving too close to the pavement and one time we were driving through country roads my instructor had the window open and the tree branches/hedges hit him in the face it was so funnnnny...!!!...
actually most people do tend to avoid big puddles anyway cos it could cause damage to ur car and besides majority of people do try and avoid splashing except when i came back to uni the other day with 2 extremely heavy bags a bus driver decided to speed up and so he splashed me even though i was as far away from the pavement as i could be. gd thing as i was so far away only a little water got on me but i would def fail a person for splashing cos it was so inconsiderate and i was tired on that day. put urself in the shoes of the person who got splashed. also, bear in mind that on a driving test u have to be more careful than usual to pass.
naa i doubt youll be told but its common sense  driving slower through a puddle results in less splash. My habit was driving 1 handed all the time, when i passed (1st time) and did some advanced lessons my instructor said i can do whatever i want as he couldnt really tell me what to do anymore -cool2
^ is the advanced lessons the 'pass plus' when ya do motorway driving and stuff..?? when i did the pass plus my instructor pointed out i picked up crossing my arms when i turn on wheels....and he cursed me for it coz its bad practice....i dun even realise it...haha..
yeah my instructor told me not to cross arms as well, that i should feed the wheel through my hands when turning the wheel. sometimes i just cross arms too without knowing but luckily not on my test ^^ my favourite part of doing the test is the emergency stop, love it my instructor said only 1/4 times when learners are required to do an emergency stop during their test and i got to do it in mine passed first time but i was pretty nervous and hot and without knowing i turned up the heat >.< and my leg kept shaking as i was driving off but gradually settled and drove naturally ~
^ hahaha yupz....i did emergency stop too...!!! i only got to practice it a few times coz my instructor said it gives him a headache..... so we practiced on the day of my test -___-" but yeshh its funnn....^^
EMERGENCY STOPS IS AWESOME just love going down a quiet straight road and you're watching the revs and the mph go up and up and slam on the brakes hard and the car just lifts up a bit. the adrenaline rush!! i try to request my instructor to let me do it every two weeks or so
Wow my instructor told me to cross arm, he said some instructors wants you to cross arms thats why. We don't have emergency stop in our driving test, but I had an encounter once, was going down hill and some idiot open the door and I nearly plowed the door clean off if I hadn't break and avoid in time LOL
wah!!! they encourage you to?? >.< i asked if i would get a minor if i cross-armed during test and he said yeah!! >.< so i learnt not to. but good job with the emergency stop or you would be facing some grumpy faces
hahaha mebe ya should do it to your own car sometime seeing as ya likey it so muchy...hey give it a go on ice...hahha...-lol really...??....cross arms is baddd....its dangerous...i think...i cant even remember the reason why ya shouldnt anymores haha... meh guess emergency stops aint all that improtant for aussie's..??.. mebe ya should do it anyways to show your initiative..hahah
lol on ice!! haha, i love it but im not suicidal they train you to be a "safe" driver on the road, not a suicidal one ^^
hahaha it would be more of a: -shock-shock-censored It was funny how the instructor was like fully shocked when she saw the door -rotfl and the guy was shouting "SORRY!" All I know I was like fully shock that I was gonna fail...since i kinda skip to the opposite lane without even thinking. While the road was a thin 2 way road....>.>"
I didnt do pass plus, my instructor said it was pointless as i was going on parents insurance anyway, i did extra motorway lessons, he ended up making me drive from Birmingham to Worcester and back at night!! i didnt cross my arms.. luckily.. cus he told me to practice on a plate at home were crossing your hands results in broken stuff >.< at one point me and my instructor were talking about aliens, ufos and ghost stories..
yeah same, i didnt do pass plus and i just went onto my mums insurance. scary and it was on your test as well ~ double scary
hahaha....but ya know all fun things are suicidal.... so ya did extra lessons like normal driving lessons..? ooOOo i know b'ham....cadburys factory..!!...i <3 shopping in b'ham... you from there right..?... hahaha.....i was told to practice with a plate but i never did....too lazy...lessons end when i get out of the car and go home......
How about emergency stops through a puddle, I done that one and it knocked a chunk of rust off my wheel carch of my old car.
Yeah normal driving lessons as i was going on my moms insurance, pass plus is for lowering insurance really. Yup the Bullring in the city center is cool for shopping, i used to live in b'ham, now i moved just outside Bham but i gota to the city center to go uni (aston uni). tbh i did the plate thing once but i caught on pretty quick, only took me a little over 3 weeks to start from scratch and pass my theory (35/35) and my practicle (not soooo good but passed).
