Studying really will cause a person to stress damn..... anyone here can teach me a effectively study method? Im only 17 this year.... i keep worried about next time after i graduated I cant get a job in the future -dead
1) Don't stress too much 2) Good Sleep 3) Healthy eating habits 4) Good studying environment 5) Repeat 1-4
The basics: - Get 7-8 hrs of sleep at least - Eat at proper times - Stay clam - Take a 5-10 minute break if you're frustrated. Either take a walk or sit back watch a show or listen to music. Take it from me. A good walk is always refreshing when you're frustrated. - Look at past and current study habits you've built up. What worked and what didn't work? Build from that. If you're asking about studying for certain courses then I have a bunch of lists for you lol.
youre worried about getting a job in the future already...?...aint your nsxt step going to uni..? i think you need to try and not look so far into future concentrate on whuts happening right nows....and take each step as it comes....!!... wish you luck in your studies~~~~~!
Just to add onto this, have a good and balanced social and work life. Don't just go full out studying.. Play sport, go out with friends. Studying wise, study smart not hard. Over here, the university tests aren't really an intelligence tests, its more of a test of how good your memory is. There are techniques to minimise time wasting on studying, different memory techniques etc. Good study habits vs. bad ones separate the best from the rest of the field. If you don't get into a desired course n university, there are other ways of getting into that course.. even though its hard, if you really want to get into those kind of courses, you'd have to work hard.
lolz. i'm guessing you have applied for university maybe? and got loads of exams soon xD? same same =_=".. i think many 17 yr olds are like this in uk right now.. haha.. i'm feeling really stressed too.. =/ ever so behind with work... even worse when subjects are time consuming (mine go on forever).. so it also takes over a lot of my sleeping time ... all i can say is.. yehh.. what the others say -make sure you really so sleep about 7-8 hours per day, or else you won't be able to concentrate when working. try to balance out work and play. -set yourself goals/targets/tasks..i.e, write down what you have to complete per day.. or per week. and stick to it haha... (it helps me be more organised) -before you start to do some revision/work.. it's good to sit and relax for about 5 minutes to really relax ur brain and clear ur mind xD!! haha. and go get a cup of water.. or some healthy chinese tea hehe~ and basically plan say like... 45 mins work. then 5-10 mins break afterwards..then like repeat this... (i can't usually stick to this..cos my concentration can be so low at times xD but it's not impossible)... -and if you achieve/ complete ur tasks ... then treat yourself with some icecream or chocolate. haha.. -and go listen to some nice piano music.. ok some people say listening to mozart is good for you. (but i find mozart generally boring.. especially when i study music i have to study so much of it.. and not so good sounding stuff like german and italian opera =_=) ...so if not mozart then listen to.. yiruma xD haha. nothing is impossible .. if thousands succeeded in their exams before you why can't you ?! *thinks positive*^^"... (dude i need to tell MYSELF all this too xD haha. i'm like too overstressed too these days.. i need my As *cry* or else i won't get into university =_ = so many deadlines to meet!!)
- Don't think too far ahead - drink tea - manage your time - take a walk - study in the morning - sleep well. - take vitamins, for some reason this helped me study really well.
If you stress too much u will get wrinkles!! haha The best way to study is to first of all relax, don't strain your brain too much. Write done notes that you think is important. study with someone- sometimes studying with someone can help. I heard that eatting blueberries help with memory!!
studying is easy if you know how to do it right... my method's usually helped me through every subject minus math... look for key terms and use anything else you read to relate to those key terms... everything you learn will be related to something else one way or another... the key is learning to map everything out in your head... once you've found the connection, it will be easy to remember as u think about it in ur head, connections will be made and u get ur answer... even if the subjects are different it will help, for example, I used english to help me with biology... history with astrology...
Intrinsic Motivation is the key! You shouldn't learn just to pass the test or memorize information! Make sure you understand what's actually going on. Try to stay interested in the material too and make sure when you choose university, you choose a subject you're actually interested in and then you can excel at it!!
