Do you guys think Oklahoma Thunder is getting better and better? With their young player like Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook and Kyle Weaver....
team is ok (i'm in Seattle, so I know how good/bad they are from years of watching them) , need more veterans on the team to help durant grow into a better player coaching is ok, not great, not bad
they are doing a great job you will see them in playoffs in about 1-2 years and maybe even win one in 3 years time they now have a good base they only need to get matured. After that you will see that they will be as blazers.
I do think they are getting better. I was surprised they beat Dallas. I think they will be in the playoffs by next season.
Don't you hate them? lol I like their team a lot, but I just can't support them cause of how they got the team. No I do not live in Seattle.
^ how so? If the Seattle City government refused to support the team, financially, venue-wise, etc; this is essentially a business. If they can't make money out of the team they bought, they should at least hold the right to make that decision to move. It's part of the business - if they are not making money after shelling out millions for the team, they need to move.
durant and jeff green arent bad, they just need a better coach in my opinion. And i agree they need more veterans to help durant develop. But then again they did beat dallas twice without durant too in one of em.
it's just odd how they have both jeff green and durant... newayz... they're not making the playoffs for atleast 3 or 4years... they have no big man that's remotely good enough to match those of the west(although i really really like Krstic)... they could make a run for Boozer, Odom or even Sheed at the end of the season... they'd have to throw an awful lot of money for Boozer though... and atm they're fourth on the lottery list, so they have an ok shot at getting Griffin or Monroe... Durant is good and is getting a lot better than just good, but he's not Kobe or LBJ... he can't carry a team into the playoffs... especially in the west...
Kevin Durant is the future of the franchise. He is to them what Ray Allen was to the Seattle Supersonics.
Once they get an inside presence they will be a playoff team. They went for Tyson Chandler in a trade but opt out of the deal when he didn't pass the physical. Pity they didn't get 1st pick in the draft, Blake Griffin would have been a great fit.
Thunders are just going to be a mediocre team getting high draft picks every year. They need to trade it for veteran players that could teach young guys a few pointers.
They definitely need some good players from a trade of some sort. They need some veteran leadership and hope things will work out for them.
