No, no, no, no .. you gotta confront him at the meeting; not one on one. If this particular person is slowing things down, I think it's worth to spend sometimes talk it over at the meeting and get things resolve ASAP. Contractor or not, he's there to work so ya'll shouldn't let his behavior affects your work productivity. A good complaint to your manager is not by word of mouth but writing with coworkers' signature. The boss needs to know that it's not just you and pass it over like another whining bitch. He has to know that and take whatever necessary action. As a person in management, I'd like to my staffs to write me the problems. I will investigate myself if it affect my team and department. If it's true, I will note it on the person's evaluation (less to no bonus or promotion) or I'll outright fire him/her.
Sounds really familiar with a couple of dudes that works in my place too. Either we ignore them or just be absolutely honest with them and tell them how you feel. Else stay clear altogether. Life's too short for bummers.
Funny that i'm quoting myself anyways so my conversation with the guy really helped he's been more plesent and that night he started doing all this work and wow he's pretty smart and all last week he worked a lot we got comments from two other co workers that the guy's additude really changes jeeze i should have done this weeks ago (but i'm not actually in the position to do so, but i was just too mad)
YEsssss!! It's so annoying when werking with negative people! They bitch about everything. It's not like it's gunna help by bitching so why! ugh comes with the job as long as i get my pay it's all good.
Me bitching is venting my fustration if you read the rest of the post, you will see i did take action. So i'm not all talk.
