Miss HK get uglier each year

    Well they also judge them based on their personality and I feel like the more recent Miss HK have an amazing personality (or so media makes it seem)

    Couldn't agree much with that. I believe the term beautiful is refer to both outer and inner beauty.

    There is nothing people can do if the contestants are getting uglier and uglier, after they win, they can just go do some plastic surgery, and when people find out, they'll just deny it.

    i wouldn't say they're ugly.. but they're not that special either.. i have friends who are, in my opninion, prettier than some miss HK's hehe

    i agree with you..these few years the miss HK are soooooooo ugly..even the contestants man! they really need to do some serrrious consideration for those whom makes it to the top 5 or whatever.

    I don't think anyone really pays much attention to the miss HK contestants/winners anymore...
    I used to watch it every year but then, they just all started looking mediocre and not super pretty or anything =P

    usually..if a girl knows she's pretty..she doesn't need to go through a pageant. People will go looking for her.
    likewise, if an girl knows she's ugly..she knows to expand in other fields...and try to do other more meaningful things in life..other than scar viewers' eyes.

    However...the girls who are in the middle, who don't know what to do, and can't get anywhere..that's who are in the pageant. So...I guess it explains why...

    I agree with arctic_fire...once they get famous they have hairstylists and makeup artists to make them look better

    Totally agree. But this contest is not only for outlook is also for the brain too. Or maybe the ugly one brain works better? -whistle
