    LOL... it's ALL fake. They're a comedy platform, not a real news gathering organization. They were the outgrowth of the original tongue in cheek Onion Newspaper, which got it's 1988 start in the University of Wisconsin (Madison) as a news parody that enjoyed a readership mostly from college students and campus towns. Of course, once they got onto the net, the rest was history.

    They have some really funny shit and sometimes, you don't realize that you're listening to parody or satire and mistake it as real. As a matter of fact, Onion's professional delivery and appearance has already fooled genuine and legitimate news networks. Several have already been found to have rebroadcast Onion's comedy in the erroneous belief that the scripted material was actual news events.
