Ahh must be competition of who has least tanning abilities lol... but actually people living more north are at a disadvantage... The farther away from equator apparently lets the skin get exposed to more UV light (therefore easier to darken). Something with the ozone layer being thinner nearer the poles than at the equator? Well for one hk is a lot warmer, and possibly sunnier when weather allows it. Not unlikely that people sunbathe more =)
brown bear.. essex is one of the sunniest counties in England ^^ and its just taking advantage of the sun whilst that is out lol so yeah i always go dark and everyone in HK goes to me i'm really "dark" and people thati talk prefer to stay brown lol i hate the whole obese thing in HK... makes me feel down :( STUPID MEDIA!! >.< but i have given up on losing the weight to go HK now xD size 10 & 12 aint that big isit? :S i totally liked what u said intraland! means i can get as dark as my dad haha... hes almost black/chinese lol

bbgirlsum....... awahh.. uk size 10/12??? I thought that's normal, or at least an enviable number for actually obese people lol. I always thought that's average @@... at least for overseas... Then again the 100lbs or less people are probably size 0 (US size), which i think most 港女 are, or even less. Is there such a thing as size -1?
yupz...thas why i notice people in hk seem to be a lot browner..... and uk does not have that muchy sun so thas why we're whiter and stick out in hk...=/ competition hahaha.....more like who can buy the most whitening creams and stuff....hahhaha... really essex is that sunny meh...??... thas quite surprising coz most hk people wana be more white....thas why theres so many beauty products....whitening creams and stuff about over there.... you generally lose weight when ya in hk i think...coz you'll be busy shopping and going places so no need to lose weight to go...^^... i think size 10-12 is actually below the avg. coz uk avg. dress size is 14-16... so nopes you aint big at all...!!!.. yupz its normal for uk just ABNORMAL in hk....=/ i have a few hk friends who are ubbbbbbber skinny like uk dress size 8 saying theyre fat -______-"
Yes there is such thing below size 0... thats no fashion now in america.. God knows why people want to be below that.. thats beyond anorexia.. i wont be able to do that for myself lol urgh i cant stand looking pale.. i look ill if i do lol yes essex is sunny laa ^_^ especially when it comes to may to end of september... thats when we get the sun the most but then usually we get a week of nice sunshine then a nasty rainfall for a day or 2 then back to the cycle again loool my mum buys those whitening creams n i told my mum to tan as we all need vitamin D in our bodies... which it only comes from the sun xD her legs are like a lightbulb as she hasn't let em out for over 15 years lol HK girls has more pressure on their weight n body than the Western people tbh...
lol its probably not anorexia just yet... could be the really skinny type. I think anorexia is getting to the point where... size 0 falls off like it was nothing. lol i used to like tanning and sitting out in the sun, one year I went so off that I looked filipino or something = =. Anyway, after that time, I learned to stay away from too much sun exposure lol.
