I found this fact that I wanted to share with people "Often overlooked, butter is one of the most important foods to consier when buying organic" for those who don't get it. My interpretation of this means that the ratio of bad enviormental benifits to product when making standard butter and organic butter is one of the highest for all foods.
Organic food To be organic means that the cow wasn't fed non organic stuff like grass that was grown with chemical fertilizers. ANd the cow couldn't have been injected with muscle growing hormones that were manufactured in a lab then the additionaly things added to butter also must follow similar processes, normally just salt (i think all table salt is organic). But if the butter was mixed with like olive oil or canola oil, or something else like in margerne (sp?) than those oils also must be organic, as in their sources couldn't have had lab created chemicals dumped into the processing. here is a link to read more about organic food http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_food What is Butter butter isn't whipped milk, but it's the fat in milk, or more i should say cream. Cream is what comes from a cow. They do some separation process to get milk. THey also do some separation process to get butter. The butter is 100% fat that comes from cream.
