fuck man, atleast spell lexus right. I drive an IS250, id say its a pretty awesome car overall, great interiorr quality and solid design. The only problem it has is that it's slow. the IS350 would be a better option for the extra money. The RL is on a whole other level though, the RL is more comparable to a base Lexus LS class, or a fully loaded GS. With the RL you're mainly aiming for luxury. The car is basically a yacht on wheels. You're essentially comparing an orange to a watermelon or a duck to a cow... or kiss to led zeppelin. fuuuuck im losing my mind, i need to stop drinking now
Never heard of Lexis before. New company out of China? I wonder if they're going to be a Lexus knock off like the name suggests.
i'll go for lexus over acura anytime. I personally think lexus is a more luxury car and looks awesome too.
what do u mean "better"? better in term of what ? -what? ie...style, performance...etc. can u be more general than that?
can't expect n00bs to know what they want... if they knew something, they'd be asking more of a specific question! personal preference i like the IS =) the IS200 was damn fun to play with!! if only i could own one =( tho silvia is still my fav! =D didn't slide it around in the rain tonite... hahaha... so tempted!
Acura RL and Lexus IS is not the same class. Therefore you can't really compare this two car. Acura RL should be comparable to Lexus GS. In my opinion, I would consider Acura RL is much better car than Lexus IS to answer your question.
if you compare those two together , i think the acura is the better one,but those two cars are not in the same class.
are you buying brand new models? To be honest..the IS is TINY in the back...as opposed to the RL. However, RL is prone to a lot of problems IS is not prone to. It also depends, are you bringing a family with you to travel? Is it an every day car? The most important question of all, what is it that is most important when making the purchase.. Either way..I'm guessing I'm a bit late in posting huh? But seriously..asking in a forum is useless..you have to make the choice yourself.
stick with lexus, acura parts are way too expensive, even tho the exterior quality is light weight , the damage can be heavy.
overall i think Lexus is better, RWD platform, V8 option(on some models), better brand image, but the down side are that the designs are some what generic. the ES IS GS and LS all have a similar look, like a cookie cutter. Acura is no slouch though, the SH AWD in the new TL takes it up a notch. i just think Acura needs to bring back the NSX, add a V8 option and trickle the SH AWD system to the TSX.
