ahh i realized what the steroid creams were doin to me so i stopped using it and now my face is red and burning, my eyes are swollen! im tryin to change my diet and moisturin like crazy but it suxx...hope this gets better b4 my class presentation T_T and it gets worse when im stressed..and finals are comin up..great..gahh

  2. i was gona start going on about how there is another thread with this stuff but

you used sterioid cream!!!! sorry to hear that, its real bad for you isnt it, it thins your skin and you can lose your pigment, how long have you been using it.

i reckon they should put a big warning on steroid creams.

Buy yourself some eucerin 10% intensive cream from the chemist or Boots/superdrug etc, its a bit pricey (£13) but it has NO harmful stuff in it and it works.

As for diet, start eating raw food, i dont mean meats, im talking about fruit/veg, eat as much of it raw as pos, you need to clean out your system, im totally against sticking tubes up you bum so drink castor oil , prunes or laxatives to get rid of the crap inside you and drink plenty water.

i have eczema too.....so totally know whut you mean.....but mines not on my face.....

i tried using hydrocortizone cream which is a steroid cream...but i stopped using it when it didnt
seem to do anything anymores so i gave up...i have ubbbbbber big tubs of aqueous which
is similar to E45 but cheaper...^^

  5. ^ yeah stick to aqueous, i use that as a general cream for my body cus its massive and its cheap considering the amount you get and imo its sometimes better than E45 but ive never had a tub of that as im not rich :p. also my cousin used to get aqueous on prescription so i had the hookup.

I also have eczema, but only on my hands and it isn't that serious. It only occurs between January and April when the weathers cold. I simply apply any hand lotion and it usually soothes it.

When you wash your hands, don't wipe it with a cloth, use disposable paper towels. Also, watch what you eat, food allergies are known to worsen your condition, but the food varies from person to person. Don't sweat too much or stay in a room that's too hot, don't wear anything that'll make you itchy (like wool), and avoid anything that you're allergic to (pollen, etc.).

prescriptions are like £7.20 or around that right...how's that cheaper...when a tub of
aqueous is like £4 or less from boots...??...o_O....

ive tried that E45 itch relief cream and thas cools your skin down and thas about it -___-"

the steroid creams are supposed to make it less itchy but it dries your skin up so you
need to moisturize it after putting it on....and ya shouldnt put it on longer than a week
coz its bad for your skin...

yupz most of the stuff thas been mentioned; aqueous E45, hydrocrotizone (steroid
cream) can all be bought without prescriptions and sold in most drug shops...^^
ive not heard of the creams you mentioned though....mebe its a us. brand...not sure...

  16. my cuz has bad exma and she was getting it for free on prescription which is cheaper than boots :p i used to get them from my cuz but that was ages ago.

now i buy my own, i buy my own from superdrug which differs in price, from £2 - £3 (usually around £2.30 each), when its real cheap or they got a special deal i buy maybe 3 and that lasts me ages. i tried the boots brand when i wasnt able to find normal aqueous but it stinks but its better than the rest... but i cant take the smell aww, i would recommend the boots brand for people who actually have bad exma though because its defo higher quality..

    icicic.....thas luckyyy.....stealing your cousins...^^...(Y)...

umm...i cant say ive really smelt the aqueous before i just took it to be fragrance
free so shouldnt smell of anything so dun pay attention to it...haha...
yupz the boots one is slightly more expensive but its much thicker i think than the
cheaper ones coz they feel kinda runny...like theyve been watered down or something....=/

  19. The boots brand smalls :( they have something in there that the others dont have. but the cheap ones are enough for me , good alternative to more expensive stuff like nivea

im not sure if u will have any allergies towards these, maybe u should consults a doctor beforehand but ive heard that E45 CREAM and AQUEOUS CREAM both do wonders to dry skin and does help eczema :)
