Yeah the n97 looks pretty neat, my girlfriend is going for that phone. Myself will be getting a next gen iPhone when it comes out, I like the usability.
1. Iphone is kinda a huge phone in size, SE often is a bit smaller 2. Iphone only got 2 mp, alot of SE phones got higher then that 3. Iphone got Wifi/3G, but the new smartphones of SE also got that 4. Iphone is really great for music, some SE are great for music, but i got a walkman phone, which doesnt function at all, it freeze all the time, but my older K serie mp3 worked great 5. cause of the size of Iphone, it really scratch very easily, both my friends has iphone, and it really looks shit nowadays cause of all the scratches. cause of the size of SE it wont scratch that easily, but since you put it in your pants, it will scratch sooner or later. Im really not that big apple fan, since you pay alot for the brand and design itself, and with the iphone i dont see why you gotta pay that much for the design, i dont really find it that attractive, i can find my needs with HTC or Blackberry. With Iphone your also stuck with Itunes, while most of SE you can just use card reader and put all data on SD card, and your done. With iphone the bluetooth fuction is really a joke, you cant do much with that, and nowadays you send so much through bluetooth.
well if u get a se c905 it has a scratch resistant screen and then it should be fine from normal usage.

I would say the Iphone. Because you can download so many applications and therefore make the phone better and better ... it is like upgrading it! But it depends on what you prefer the most ... a good camera og something else... Rumors say that there will be a new Iphone in June with better camera...
But it's not even confirm, hopefully it's true also. Eagerly waiting, but the new OS already look promising LOL iPhone 3.0.. hehe copy and paste is on the way
If cash is not a problem then the X1i maybe a good one for you, it has better camera, a touch screen, memory card slot (microSD), 3G, wifi, mp3 and a normal 3.5 audio jack, separate charging slot (mini usb). i like it better than iphone because you can drag and drop onto memory card and run from it where as iphone you need to install itunes and when you reformat your pc you have to add the files to itunes again or its syncs and wipes your music on the iphone. almost forgot to mention its a sony ericsonn phone but they actually asked HTC to make it, hence the 3.5mm audio jack and microSD instead of M2 they should do it more often lol
X1 is so old, X10 is coming to Canada in the Sprin 2010...X2's are here too I believe...why would cash be a problem when ppl are getting the iphones? hahah iphone is stupid, while u listen to music and an incoming call enters, u have to stop it, unplug earphone and take the call, whereas SE's will stop the music for you, and continue the music where u left off automatically... iphone probably has to charge every 2-3 days, SE won't req at least 7 days, just compare the standby/talk time and you can see the HUGE difference...SE's batteries are replacement and iphone's, you have to send it back!
