I am thinking about buying a new personal cell phone .. leaning towards the Samsung Memoir .. what do ya'll think? It's not bad with the camera feature. I was kinda disappointed that it didn't come with the 3 mm stereo headphone like the Samsung Eternity. Anyway .. share your thought. I am also searching for a new Blackberry for work .. not personal so I don't mind spending top dollar ...lol.. of course, I can't be too unreasonable with the price .. lol .. had the curve and hate it so don't even mention it.
well i've never heard of the memoir so it would have been better to have put pics on this forum but anyway did a google search. it seems like they don't have that phone in europe, instead they have the pixon which is completely identical to it except that memoir has xenon flash which is rather pleasing to know but then again this got released quite a bit later than the pixon. so i assume that this is just an update before they put it out for release in america. yea the pixon wasn't too bad, rather nice phone but they have been suggestions that battery life is pretty short for that phone and samsung's don't have brilliant battery life. it's rele upto u i personally think the se c905 is better as it has wifi and longer battery life more suited for me personally. regarding the blackberry, if u don't like the curve u prob won't like the bold as it is slightly bigger. in europe they have the blackberry storm which is rele a very good phone as well after playing about with it so perhaps get that if ur not into the curve or storm. it has a bigger screen but is touch screen and doesn't have wifi but here if ur getting it on contract u get unlimited internet on the phone package so it works out fine anyway.
it all really depends on where you live, honestly if you're living in North America I would say Blackberry simply for it messenger feature has the upper hand on most phones out there... It's pretty much free txting to any other bberry user. But i mean that also depends on whether you have friends or associates with a blackberry.. If not i'd say go with the Memoir.
the old curve or the new curve? cuz the new curve's not bad... basically u really only have 3 choices on the BB market the Storm, Bold or the new Curve... Storm is touch screen, 3g, but no wifi... Bold's got the shit camera... and the Curve doesn't have 3g... those are the major differences between the 3... Storms on VZ Bolds on ATT Curve's on TMo
my com ordered the bold for me ALREADY .. wtf .. not even conferring with me... anyway, i bought the memoir for my personal use... it's not bad. i kinda like it .. gotta use for a while to really know though .. i kinda worry about its reception. we shall see... thanks ya'll.
