I was listening to BoA's new English album just now and only like one song from all the tracks .. Hypnotic Dance Floor; BUT, I can't get over the line, I DON'T wanna hear NO conversation .. WTF .. 1 - why did she try to be like the Americans? 2 - those kind of lyric make her music so GHETTO; not cool. 3 - bad English for a newbie. That just ruined the whole song for me .. so none of her song will go in the Ipod .. lol .. I was never her fan and I can understand why now .. she tried to hard to be somebody she's not ... pitiful.

Song writers tend to bend the rules of grammar in order for the lyrics to jive with the rhythm of the song. Perhaps that's why the song is grammatically incorrect.

I've never really ever actually listened to any of her music... just watched her MV's and imagined sexytime with her. -bigsmile

LOL... I've been stewing over kid's usage of YOUR (incorrectly) in place of YOU'RE (contraction for YOU ARE), and WOULD OF or COULD OF (incorrectly) in place of WOULD HAVE or COULD HAVE (the contraction being WOULD'VE, COULD'VE); also TAKE ME A PICTURE (incorrectly) used instead of TAKE A PICTURE OF ME; sometimes to see it is like being hit with a dental drill.

Double negatives are bad, but that's the least of the affronts IMHO. If you look at Asian music in general, just about all the "new" things in the last 20 years of entertainment have been directly copied from western sources (rap, hip-hop, break dancing, metal). The only entertainment venue movement from eastern culture to western acceptance, that had any real substantial and lasting impact was martial arts (thanks to the late Bruce Lee).

^ I dont know what your talking about man. You're dislike of improperly used contractions clearly arises from a deapseated Freudian Oedipus complex. I could of told you this earlier, but I was to busy telling this guy too take me a picture of this dental drill.

Dont stress to much about word usage on the internet. Especially in regards, too nonproper, punctuation. Its an nonwinnable battle that of which you are fighting.

Sometimes people on the internet dont know how to write properly but that, is they're problem, not you'res.

    "I DON'T got NO problem" .. that's the prob

Assimilation into the American mainstream is indeed an important first step for a break through into the market but I really think her music should at the very least carry some Azn unique flavor to it. Right now, she's simply imitating others .. no different from Britney Spear .. she needs a personality, an identity sorta thing.

    ^ Spam. Pointless post.

Anyways negiqboyz, in regards to you saying she sounds like another Britney Spears, actually one of her song was co-written by Britney. Wasn't used in her 'Circus' album so they passed it onto BoA. When I heard it, I noticed how... Britney-ish it was.

Her 2nd single MV was just released,

    I Did it For Love

As good as her dancing is, I couldn't sit through the song. As I usually am with most of her music. I find her voice too... high/winey like? Nasally for me to stand. I had to skip most of the song, cause I really can't stand her voice.
And for the entire song her voice is enhanced. Expected a little Asian flavour in her music like a few of you have mentioned, but there is none.

  14. ^^ dude nobody forces you to post so there is no need to spam.

i thought that video "I Did it For Love" was alright, not as goood as the video in my signature though, Eien is better in my opinion. BoA <3 ~ her English language album is quite nice

gah i'm too lazy to type proper english.... oh yea her album sucks and utada's album suck also. but anyways what did you expect her "english" album to turn out as, she could barely speak the language she's singing in lol. besides some songs you don't really even have to understand the language to enjoy a song lol.

  17. haha tbh.. i really like BoA songs xD just the style.. and you dont see much asians doing it..

^ is that a joke .. i guess you should live in the us .. plenty of that going around ..

britney stuffs are for teens .... i enjoy more of alternative, hard rock, heavy metal, and indie music; not so much r&b or rap.
