Hey, been looking around and I can't seem to see any discussion about this yet. So does anyone else here like F1? As you may have gathered from my avatar, I am a big big big big massive like OMG massive fan of Formula 1. I love racing and motorsports on the whole! Does any other Asians share this interest? This season is so amazing and today's race was great. For the first time in donkey's years there is actually real competition and the season is becoming interesting with McLaren and Ferrari not being frontrunners and "untouchable" as seen in previous seasons. Today's race was great IMO - rain, overtaking, spinning, crashing, and Vettel winning. Anyways before I look like a freak and overobsessive, for those who don't know, F1 in a motor racing series with openwheel cars built to absolute perfection and demands alot of the drivers, who are probably some, if not the best in the world. They race in different locations in the world and after a season of 17 races in different circuits across the globe, a champion is made, the latest one being Lewis Hamilton from the UK
Just finish the China F1 circuit.... very bad raining weather....but exciting show...haha... lot of spining and crash scene... Red Bull triumph
Cool, I live in Somerset, but not in the same town as where Jenson Button is from -what? and by the way take a look at this: http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/090419163216.shtml it turns out that Shanghai made a massive **** up with the anthems. Despite being based in Britain, RBR is a Austrian owned team and are quite disappointed about what happened, read the story for more information. In my opinion they got their first 1-2, they should be more than happy about that.
i felt asleep while watching it..lol!! hate it when its wet race..No excitement at ALL. take the fun out of watching and overtaking during the whole race!
Looks like this year's contenders seem to be BrawnGP and Red Bull. Vettel seems like the real deal and he's only 21 years old, I think
what the hell happend to Ferrari? they yet to score a point? congratz to BRawn.... really great car from them... as well as Button revived...
Basically Ferrari and McLaren were running toprunners last year, because Hamilton v Massa were still fighting towards the championship, they spent the majority of last season duelling over the championship and trying to update their 2008 car to seal the championship whereas some other teams already started working on the 2009 car by that time. Because of the new regulations, they basically have to start from scratch again, instead of revamping their previous year's car with updates like they did in 2008. Because of this, with teams already starting work in the latter of last season's races, Ferrari and McLaren are both disadvantaged and have had less time to get the car ready. However Ferrari did admit that without KERS, the car isn't quick. They also don't have the new diffuser which increases downforce so when they get their updates in a few weeks time, they'll be fine IMO.McLaren and Ferrari will get back to the top - the only question is when.
hopefully, they will score pts even not in top 3 places.... if not, this season will dominate by newcomer ..
This is the season for new teams. From the looks of it the non works team are doing a much better job at building championship cars. Ferrari is already thinking about abandoning their 2010 development car if Bahrain turns out fruit-less.
wat happen to Ferrari? the diffuser trio are gaining pace over Ferrari especially Brawn GP. This is a real different scenario with worst start from McLaren, Ferrari n BMW Sauber. Hope Ferrari could bounce back after Raikonnen score first points for Ferrari.
well they have now. They will get the new diffuser for Ferrari. But saying this, RedBull don't even have the new diffuser yet and look at them...who could wonder what could happen if they were to have the diffuser. And I'm LOL'ing at the McLaren "Suspension" case for lying by the way. It's ridiculous, it's more of a warning than a suspension.
kind of tired of watching one driver keep-on winning...not fun at all! C'mon, Ferrari and Mclaren or BMW. ??? I want to see a different driver on the podium...kimi, are u here?
The prancing horse has returned. Expect Kimi to be on the top spot of the podium in the next few races!!!
Undoubtedly, Monaco GP is the best circuit in the world cos they got a tunnel n it'd b even better if they held it during nite
