We broke up a few years ago, and we still talk a bit... but when she told me she has a boyfriend... wow... 心好酸... I know that I should be happy for them and a part of me is, but then another part of me still misses her. lol -_-" Now everytime she talks about her boyfriend my 心 starts to 酸... so fun~ Anyhow this isn't a question or anything, just a rant~ Don't mind me~

I suppose that it is normal for you to feel that way. Usually it's a sign that you still have a bit feelings for her considering that it's been awhile that you guys broked up. But most of the time, it's normal to feel awkward and weird about her new relationship with someone else. You just need to accept it and get use to it, and I'm sure that the feeling will go away, and you will recognize that it's just a phase.

Move on, cause she already did :)

yes, just feel happy for them unless her new bf doesn't deserve her. but, as for me, it would be tough to talk to her because everything i talk to her she will bring up "he was so cute the other day.blah blah blah....". you get the idea.

It's always normal to have some sort of emotional response when you find out that a person that you dated has someone new. I think it just stirs emotions. Besides, saying that you should "be happy" for them is easy to say but hard to do. Maybe, you should just distant yourself a tad.

meh, its just something u have to get used to... its been a few years so its very normal la....
its always hard in the beginning, maybe it will fade away...
if it still makes u feel unhappy after a while then i think it would b better to talk to her less often n keep some distance...

From the girl's view... it feels sooooo irritating if you know the ex still likes you (and saying anything to flirt or something like that... I am in such a situation =.= )... And yeahh... That's why I always telling about my boyfriend... to keep him in a distance............. But what you've been saying, it's not that weird for feeling the way you feel, you just have some time to let that feeling fade away (I hope for you), otherwise forgetting her and keeping distance is the best way.

this is same for me....but from a boy's view.

I am still friends with my ex and we do still hang out but usually not by ourselves...usually in a group. However every time I see her she starts saying things like I miss you, or I really wanted to see you.

I get so annoyed as it kinda makes the whole night awkward.

When I broke up with her, she told me that if I meet someone else, that I should not tell her because she rather did not know....but the thing is...if I have a gf and she is still clingy when I see her I will have to tell her for the sake of my gf!

That is one clingy ex you have there, I would definitely be real piss at her if she suddenly say that and never see her again.

Hehe, thanks for all the advice everyone~ But I would like to say this, I "do" miss her, but I have no intention of getting back together with her, the way she talks about her boyfriend, he seems like a really nice guy and is treating her very well, plus she's happy, so that makes me happy too.

I just been talking her as a normal friend, no plans on telling her anything, if I did it will only make this worse. I'm just waiting for the feeling to fade/disappear like what most people are saying. Although stupid feeling sure is taking its time to disappear. >.<

About keeping a distance... I don't know if I can do that, she's not my girlfriend anymore, but she is my ex-girlfriend and a friend, so I'm just keep talking to her as a friend for now. If things come to worse, distancing myself will be my last move.

P.S. Anyone here have any girl friends they want to introduce me to? =P *joking joking*

it might be better to cut her out in the long run, if u still can't get over the feelings u have for her.

yeahhh exactly... but my bf should just trust me.. since i've told it him from the beginning of our relationship. sooo... he's not suspecting anything.

but yeah... its really irritating to have such an ex... and the hardest part is to be angry ánd he's acting like there's nothing. but yeahhh... she doesn't want to hear anything about your gf... HER problem... u should think of yourself as well ;)

    WELL DONE!

why don't you just tell her that because you two used to date you're uncomfortable listening to her speak about him in that way? maybe she's completely obnoxious to the fact that you're uncomfortable with her affection to her new boyfriend

  16. im currently dating a former ex who got a new boyfriend but couldn't get over me.... she sorta cheated on him with me but eventually broke it off with him....

bringing a whole new possibility into this topic XD

I think it's natural to feel like that ~~
everyone feels that mini awkwardness feeling in their heart with anyone they used to be out with/ had feelings for :p..when you seem them with another person...

time will heal... eventually :p hehe
esp. when you meet someone new and special~

then you can look back and think of your past relationships as happy days.. rather than the sad days..something to smile about anyways...

(well that's what has happened to me... apart from the person now that i have feelings for doesn't like me =="... aii..oh wells..)

Not sure you're still having feeling for her or just jealous because she has found someone and you are still looking for someone. She will be out of your mind when you have a new gf.
